2WD, it is an old truck... since then i has been rebuilt, now it has the Velineon System waterproof and capable of 3S lipo batteries.. much faster and waterproof perfect for bashing here in rainy british columbia

whats the dif between a sidewinder slash and a regualer one

sidewinder is a castle creation brushless system, the regular slash is a brushed motor=low power and dies in 2 months

yes i have, nice but it is a slash beaker anyway, now a day i stick to Kamikasee race track, i got an Jammin SCRT and it is a delicate truck but definitely a racer and it wins over any other SC truck... i tried to go everyday unless it is raining.

i live in vancouver bc where is a good bashing area i have a e firestorm my friend has a slash

any bmx track, although be prepared to repair ur vehicle...these places are meant for bikes so there are alot of rocks and harsh jumps, not familiar with any place in vancouver, but if you go to the subburbs, surrey, coquitlam etc there are lots, also try a couple of RC tracks we go to..kamykase in coquitlam or riverside in burnaby.

well, T/E maxx is a whole different thing than the slash, the slash is an entry level race truck, the e-maxx is a monster truck, they would handle different, as for more capable..proly the e-maxx, but i just love the scale look of the slash and it handles just like the real thing...

that is goin like 15-20 mph tops. i have a slash with a sidewinder system with an 8 cell nimh pack. it wheelies on demand and goes 45+ mph. then again ure son is driving.
