This is no joke. I have been doing kettlebell workouts since Jan 1st. I have lost 14 pounds and 1.5 inches on my waist! I also do a low carb way of life. With the correct eating habitats and exercise you can achieve the body you want.
Her demonstration using the bench is good, but her demo with the kettlebell can be dangerous for the knees. A squat should not drop below a seated position with thighs parallel to the floor. Continuous exercise using this form for years, especially aerobically or with heavy weights, will destroy your knees.
@LoveOneAnother1 Being a competitive powerlifter I respectfully disagree with you on this one. Going deeper is actually better for the knees. I train with a guy who has been doing them that way for 30 years and no knee problems. I have only been doing them deeper than parallel for over 25 years and no knee problems.
Nope. Your feet point where your feet point. Don't force them into an natural position. When I squat, my left foot is perfectly forward, but my right foot is out by at least 45*.
Good video. It's nice to see someone doing squats all the way down. Doing deep squat is actually easy on your knees as hamstrings kick in to stabilize your knees. Doing half way squat is not a squat but a squa. :) And front squat is better than back squat especially here in the US due to upper cross syndrome which most Americans have.
is there a reason that going so deep in squats with kettle bells is different than other exercises, so many people discourage it in yoga martial arts etc. I myself am 6-4 and going so deep make my knees hurt, any advice

kettlebells don't hold a candle next to Olympic weighting... nothing motivates like the sound of bumper plates hitting the floor

great job. rock bottom squats activate everything including hip flexor muscles.

not nearly as hard on the back as putting 200 lbs on the shoulders

@LoveOneAnother1 tell that to olympic lifters who squat hundreds and hundreds of pounds ass to floor.

Your video is very helpful. You showed me the proper way to hold the kettlebell and the proper way to activate my glutes on the up portion.
It's obvious to me that you know your stuff and you like what you do, and that's awesome when that happens, don't you think?
Keep sharing:)
PS Your hair is extremely long and beautiful. How long did it take to let it grow that long?

@coachaliciafong What is upper cross syndrome? By the way Alicia, I like your vids too. :-)

@coachaliciafong you sound like an idiot. 'front squats are better than back squats' thats stupid. both are good and both do different things.

nope, going deep is the best...just look at all olympic weightlifters, squatting all the way down and holding 500 lbs!
