(2)get bat in it's proper cage.

(3)and snail in rat cage.

(4)then bat in snail cage.

(5)then snail in spider cage, leaving raven cage empty.

(6)then move whatever is in the bat cage to the empty raven cage.

(7)then move bat(which should be in snail cage atm) up to the bat cage again.

(8)then move snail left to the snail cage. now its easy. spider cage should be empty.

(9)cycle the other 3 animals clockwise, until each is in place.

you normally need to do this puzzle twice, 1 time for the quest and 1 time for a purple cat, but for the quest, you only need to move 4 animals becuz the bat and snail are already in the good cages
