Everything about this was great except the totally inaccurate description of our elected officials in DC who put themselves ahead of our freedoms, the Constitution, and the many issues that the American people are concerned about, selling themselves to lobbyists and add pork to bills AFTER they've been passed.

Our politicians aren't fit to lick the shoes of these brave men and women who risk life and limb to preserve our freedoms, eg, the right to vote. Conservatives who won't vote are scum.

Apparently, the term "hero" means someone that we salute, make tribute vids for, stand next to in political ads, etc., but don't pay a living wage or provide sufficient medical benefits to.

Maybe hero means something that you could never understand. Hero is doing something as a sacrifice of self. Never expecting something in return. Pray for understanding and you will receive. This "vid" does more honoring to our "Heros" than i am sure you have given them in your life time. So judge not lest ye be judged!

OK, Now NRCC you need to do a couple of things asap.

First- Increase the death benefit from the paltry $400,000.00 it is now to atleast $800,000.00. (This should be done within 90 days)

Secondly you need to vastly increase funding to the VA. We have over 25,000 wounded (and counting) and thousands more with PTSD.

Your words and videos are nothing your actions are everything. Now prove to us veterans that you support us!
