I have to agree with a lot of the previous comments. The theme works as a main news theme in my opinion, but would better fit a station somewhere else in the country. I don't think it would really work anywhere in Florida, come to think of it. The graphics clash horribly. There was really nothing wrong with the old ones. One question I have: why is the copyright given as WBFS? I know CBS owns both stations, but if this was aired on WFOR, why would they use the WBFS copyright?
When I hear this music, which I really like, I think this would be a perfect morning show song, not the main theme song of the news station. Also, why did WFOR make "budget cuts" and release longtime WFOR reporter/anchor Ileana Varela, who to my understanding led a very solid weekend newscast. It just doesn't make sense, what am I missing?
I love cbs4 miami i use to watch it all the time even though i was webpoducer at local 10 im miami then i move to cbs4 denver where i am the web master
WPEC recently went HD and changed their format to aggressive. New graphics, new logo, and a new vo, but this vo isn't that great. If WRGB, WPEC's sister station, were to use these graphics, they need Brian James are their vo.

too many CBS 4 haters.

I like the open, the music is okay, but the serif font on the lower thirds and navy blue do not match the rest of the look.

I like the old music better- it had a more Latin flair thing going on which fits Miami better, IMHO...

They've updated the L3's. The white streak is now replaced with an orange-yellow one.

I love this new open. Much better than the old one.

Do we know... this is from 615, but is it a particular package or custom made for them?

Wow, I really like that music. But like you said, the graphics just don't fit it, IMO.
