  • shaken not stirred....

casino royale: does it look like i give a damn

  • mythbuster chuck norris special

  • bond doesn't do olives. his has a thin slice of lemon peel!;)

  • @stig1893 That's true! I think they've shown him drinking them with olives in the movies but in the original books he orders them just as you said.

  • Hmm, interesting. :)

  • in Soviet Russia drink stirs you

  • That's probably the easiest myth they've ever done.

  • When I said the drink was less dense, I meant more dense. The alcohol water density was alright though

  • Look at the olives, the floating ones are In the shaken one, the sunken ones are in the stirred.

The shaken olives float because there is more water, making the drink less dense (as alcohol is less dense than water)

  • Kari in that dress...is absolute proof that there IS a God !!!

  • Rated PG because of Kari :D

  • And I know it had poison in it because I can sense drinks with deadly liquid in them.

  • Kari's martine had poison in it and she died after, it is the work of Mr. Savage and Claw!!!!! MAHA Ha HA HA!!!!!!!!

  • @vinceschannel Acctulaly his name was Claws, but he and Mr. Savage killed Kari when the poisoned her martine and the guy at the bar took their orders or else he would be killed.

  • Wow read the comments about the ordering the drinks this is the trust time I even seen someone be all like no I was wrong lol wow good for you dude

  • To be specific, the difference comes from the gin. The aromatic components are dulled if the drink is cooled below about thirty degrees. If you shake the drink, the gin gets chilled.

However, it should be noted that this is only a concern with GIN. With Bond's vodka martinis, shaking the drink has no detrimental effect, since vodka has no components to dull. Therefore, all that happens is you get a cold drink.

  • @IgnisDivin Unless you use a potato vodka, rather than a grain one.

  • @thobern Actually no, in the United States, anyway, the regulations state that vodka cannot have any distinguishing taste, texture or aroma.

  • @IgnisDivin Fair enough, but probably an issue for a Soviet era Bond, though.

  • when i go to a bar i always ask for a scotch on the rocks, hold the scotch

  • @Jacno77

If I was serving - I would still charge you full price.

  • In order to get the proper effect, they'd have to use potato vodka like the stuff from Fleming's era. Shaken vodka tastes less oily because of the dispersal of the oil during the shaking. It also makes the drink weaker.

  • in the original bond books he actually orders his martini stirred not shaken but when they made the films they thought it sounded cooler the other way round.

  • @aritus33 Wrong. It was always ordered by Bond as Shaken, not Stirred in Fleming's novels. His order got messed up once, which he accepted as to not be a dick.

  • @ninjast4r no your right i made the mistake of believing something i've read on the internet but have recently read the books myself and released my mistake

  • qwerty fish

  • gotta get rid of em olives...they should be banned from any drinks. a martini is tons better with a lemon peel and/or twist.

  • @WannaBeatle

I always liked dirty martinis. But then I'm also an absinthe drinker.

  • does kary have a tatoo on her back

    1;06

  • @TheEvilCommenter What you see that is the antenna from the transmitter of her wireless microphone.

  • i figure the difference would be on the shaken being more mixed i guess i was wrong is about diluting it cuz of the ice

  • Bond drinks Vodka Martinis, Gin Martinis and his own cocktail, the Vesper;

3 measures Gin, 1 measure vodka, half measure Kina Lillet vermouth, orange peel, shaken.

  • mmmm but the are not using the james bond recepie!

  • I'd rather have a White Russian, shaken AND stirred.

I'm talkin' bout the drink, not that white guy, Goober!

  • Tory is handsome!!! He is the best!!!

  • ROFL at 3:15!!!! xD

  • @crimsonJADEDfang It's really fun to watch that by pressing your link over and over really fast. ^_^ thanks for the tip

  • Doesn't 007 have a Vodka Martini anyway....

  • 3:01 He shows which one is shaken and stirred, HAHA!

  • 3:01 He shows where they are, haha!

  • 'Vile. Clearly Tory made this one.'

    Lol.

  • ummm... thats why we have both--shaken and stirred...

    i thought it was ovious....

    anyway great show!

  • 3:33 why is she so hot?!

  • she has some kind of beautiful glow

  • Kary isn't just hot, she's beautiful.

She's the kind of chick you could easily fall in love with.

  • @bradconx nice Tits and smile :)

  • @ktm133 lol fair observation i guess

  • @bradconx

"3:33 why is she so hot"

Because of high explosives and electricity woooo!

  • @bradconx She'd be hotter if she knew the difference between a cocktail and a glass. Cute as hell though.

  • Well, I must say, I'm VERY relieved at the answer!
