Actually this is edited. When you see it live the "half man" is rolled off stage then rolled back on before he stands up and walks away. That's when they switch the "half man" with a full sized normal man. The first guy is actually half a man deformed either by birth, disease, or accident. That's why they have to put a mask on him. So you won't notice it's a different guy. If you see this trick live it's not as amazing.

i would think its someone who can really fit in a box and just bends his/her legs into the suit, the leg part of its own does only one motion (leaned towards the bench) so prob. some mechanism not hard and when he "puts the parts together" the doctor hides most of the middle body part hiding the motions of pulling the legs back into the phony pants. PLEASE don't say fake or real because then you missed the whole point. Magicians are supposed to create an illusion using diffrent tricks thanks.
