if sly is a spy, why does he leave the clue that he was the one who did it? if no mark, then it would leave the bad guys wondering who did it.

I think he's trying to make himself a well known criminal. Plus it runs in his family tradition to do that.

Yeah, I haven't played it myself, but I'd say this game is a bit better than Sly 2 because there's a lot more platforming in it.

I think it beats Sly 2 by a far margin. The powerups make more sense in this game. In Sly 2, the bottles were very difficult to find, and why would anyone keep a "power-up" in their vault? It wasn't pages from the Thief Manual, it was a little icon. Especially this power-up would have helped in Sly 2. And Murray and Bently don't ruin it. They were mostly there for comic relief. I could see hacking with Bently as useful, but that's it.

Well if you think about it from another point of view, how could reading from a page make you learn how to turn invisible and how would Sly's ancestor's know anythig about circle or square buttons? I mean if they talked about this in front of people, they'd be like WTF???
