Iv heard that so many times that dalmatians are dumb but i completely disagree, they are dumb in some ways but very bright in others. My dog was so easy to train and knows about 20 different orders but they are dumb when it comes to things like traffic, forget it, he sees a car and thinks "lets run in front of it to stop it!", He has a metal pin in his rear leg and a nice scar frm when he did that to a minibus when someone was walking him for me. Have an amazing personality, intelligent but dumb

Totally agree Mordeth, besides there are so many strays out their that need a home anyway. Both my dogs and my cat are Mutts, we adopted the dogs from some people we knew who's dog (an adopted stray) had had puppies that they couldn't keep and the cat was a tray kitten we found starving last august.

There really is no need to go and buy expensive breads when there are so many animals out there that need a home.

Not neccesarily. I adopted a retired racing greyhound from Homes-4-Hounds here in Oregon and he is a very sweet, intelligent, and well mannered dog. Plus I only had to pay $200 which I was very ok with because it helps support the organization. But I guess they aren't technically breeders though.
