May look odd and certainly doesn't make sense when two or more contractors can certainly work faster without it. However for a homeowner doing it themselves it makes more sense and is likely cheaper, easier and safer than using stilts and some random friend/wife. Also nice to see a video FROM a Chinese factory,it humanizes it if that makes any sense.

This is a wonderful too if your ceiling is 11' or shorter. How do you add the extension to use it for a taller ceiling?

@FrannieB52 If your ceiling is higher than 11' you use the next size up that lifts to 15'.
