Just got back from a month in India. I arrived in Hampi at 6 in the morning and went straight up to a hilltop temple as the sun was rising. It nearly blew my mind.

In fact I was so mesmorised by the place that I forgot to apply suncream and by the end of the day my skin was a mess. It was more than worth it though.

@OffShoreAccount2 I also remember the sunrises and sunsets in Hampi as unbelievably beautiful. I've been there a couple of years ago and had a lot of fun exploring the place with a rented mountain bike :)

@hawkwind999 there aren't many places in India which aren't a good place for those bastards, but i remember quite some paddy fields in the vicinity which usually increase the mosquito density by a huge amount :)

i feel love-sick when i think of india and especially Hampi,was there in 03,and miss it eversince.

same for me, I went there in 1980 and Im sooo pleased to find those vids from Hampi I keep some of the most wonderful memories from this place!!!best time of my life ever!!

thanx very much this is just amazing .... i seem to have spent half my indian time over the years in Hampi so it's good to have this to look over during the cold english winter months, namaste
