Never understood the premise for this episode. I found the whole 'I know, let's do a team that's all girls' deeply patronising and couldn't understand why it wasn't about AR-1. If it had been, I might have found it less boring.
Actually, Martin Gero feared for his life and gave in to the Save Carson Beckett fans. The nice thing about sci-fi is that characters can be easily resurrected. And bringing Carson back was a very smart move on the writers' part. Now they just need to put him in a kilt for a scene or two...
