  • both versions long and short i saw both ;•)

  • I can only imagine the episode of cops now.

  • 113 mpg this is insane. I cant believe. How???

  • @vaidotas86 they worked with they aerodynamicks and they got a cd of 0.20 wich is the lowest ever achived in a normal shaped car an becose of low aerodynamic frictions they achived it!

  • Back in the day the OPEL GT was as ugly as they get.But this car is really something,I would guess that the gearing of it made it possible to achieve those speeds with only 112 horsepower and the torque of the diesel engine,it's really qiute an achievement.Way to go OPEL!

  • performances are really COOL!

  • OPEL is really COOL :) OPEL 4 LIFE!!!!!

  • @Sanyey Fiat engine Looooool

  • @LeonelBravoGT

the truth is :it is... only the cylinderhead and other small things on it was made and designed by Opel...

  • @LeonelBravoGT BTw im not proud of it being italian..

  • Cool!

  • cool, a girl race car.

  • i hope your joking....that makes no sense

  • i need to get me one of these lil monsters.

  • theres lots of 100+mpg cars we never hear of.This is something else !Bear in mind the drag is 8times that at 140 mph as at 70 mph. This and the Rabbit and the Loremo make far more sense than the overrated Prius.

  • you never heard of theese cars, because you live in the US :D

  • thats why and its a shame and a conspiracy.Like Paris hilton we give fashionable but backward crap all the attention.Like the Prius some things are famous because theyre famous, not because theyre groundbreaking and deserve to be like the Opel.

  • the us suporting diesel for long but no one ever weren`t really intrested because of the gas price were so low so you guy`s were not really look for it and aslo was slow but strong who ever /same in europe/ has a brain they were useing it .... but this car i like to have opel makes good cars use to be in the us but not anymore made in germany .... nice

is it haha ... 113miles per gallon oh my shit how much would be a rice for a gallon than shit .... i can`t even think about it ....

  • wow, with those claims they should already have won the x competition this year for a car exceeding 100 mpg (unless of course it was soley for gasoline based cars). Anyway, I love to see this and look for more. How about the air driven pneumatic car from France?? Check out their you tube vid.

Down with OPEC and up with green technologies.

  • your right america it's too small, too cramped and too low and dangerous ....if you're too fatto bend over and see your knees ...If you believe cars should be so safe you should be a passenger .. this is built like a race car .. like a lotus the fact that it's small light and shapely make it fast .can't understand for the life of me how you can ride no helmet on a bike but can't drive a car that hasn't been hit 7000 ways to prove it's safe for your idiot son..how about an iq test to drive 1

  • look at it as a f 40 or a lambo.. something you'll never own ...the us is not the land of freedom rather a hot bed of lobbists who dictate to the unwashed what will be and what will not be ..Filling their foolish heads with thoughts of untimate safety without any personal responsibility ... Why not drive a 4 ton suv smoke and talk on the cellphone while changing songs on your I pod .....ooopppps was that a motorcycle??

  • my 1978 VW Rabbit Diesel got over 50mpg on the highway. Imagine what couldve been if the US actually supported diesel growth and development as opposed to killing it with insane restrictions and regulations. I probably would be driving a 100+mpg diesel today!

  • wow thanks for the video! i need one of these, but i'd imagine they still cost enough to offset the mileage. for now.

  • either way, with the gas price over 4 dollars, i could use a car like this.... NOW

  • LOOOL!!! Pal, we in Hungary, and in fact everywhere in europe pay way over a dollar/liter for years now.... So stop whining about gas prices.. your average monthly incomes are way over than ours in hungary.. so I belive its not so tough to pay for your gasoline usage afterall... :)

  • Europeans pay around 8 $ US gallon standard, 1/3 of average net income goes purely on energy, heating, electric, fuel.

1/3 on rent, after you've finished paying for insurances, your broke!
