This movie could start with Ash and S-Mart Clerk at the airport going back home. 1 hour after, the Deatite explode the plane and crash over the England, though the Ash, S-Mart Clerk and pilot narrowly manage to escape on an parachutes and ride down the slopes into a graveyard (located the evil wizard's laboratory in a grave false). They come to King Arthur's abandoned castle where the trio find the Professor Knowby's soul.

1) I am completely fine with a remake to the evil dead franchise, but it should be renamed army of darkness and follow the original films and the comic book series, because bruce campbell is still a good actor but no amount of makeup can make him look like a proper ash again.

2) drag me to hell sucked, I saw more references to Raimi's previous films than I did anything creative, and the ending was the most expected and uncreative way to end a film.

It's too late, Bruce Campbell is too old and kind of fat now. And to cast anyone else would be a 99% fail chance. You would need to find some1 completely fresh, cos no one i've seen could fit the role. The idea of remaking the first without Ash sounds lame, its just another movie, might aswell call it something else. I'm sure it will be good in its own right with Sam raimi directing but it wont be evildead. The dreams over.

I met one of Sam's producers at a convention looking for extras for this (naturally I signed up and I do hope I can take part in it). He was real nice and had alot to say to get me excited for it. He also mentioned Spiderman 4 and Sam would have full range unlike the last one although sadly I hear that's been cast aside for a reboot. That's idiotic.
