Her sabre will cut through ur straw, sorry "fencing sabre" and lame like slicing a cake. Its 2 pounds of sharp steel coming at you. You will likely be running faster than rubbit after her first cut.

@zarkov66 sorry you missed a word from the title, "stage" combat, meaning blunt wepons no intention of harm, not trained to actully kill anyone, or even proper fencing, stage combat is designed to make the fight look real, not actully be real,

ugh... way way too many faults. aside from the cut to her two. its pretty good. but pointing at her isnt on point. your pointing at a specific area. but meh. its a free video lesson on youtube. cant expect perfection.

those arent sabers. they are fencing foils with saber hilts. and as much as i've seen, its not rapier combat, its fencing.

omfg if ur going to fence with rapiers then use rapiers... i've nothing against sabers, but seriously... get it right. plus ur voice is so annoying... it kills my ears

The fuck are they using sabers for? They couldn't be further from rapiers. If you aren't going to say "en garde" properly, then just say "on guard." Otherwise you sound like a fool.

Also, she is advertising her attacks far too much to look realistic. Also, her distance blows. I really feel like they should make stage combat people take courses in actual combat, rather than just choreographed stuff. That way, they know what looks unrealistic. Also, you don't slash with a rapier. Strictly thrusts

It's not supposed to be realistic but to make us understand the moves. And that's also why we don't care about the weapons.

I don't really know rapier techniques, so if you can me a better tutorial, I would be grateful ^^
