  • i saw this video about 4 years ago.. i was instantly hooked! tens of thousands of dollars later i still cannot get enough of these rc crawlers. thanks for posting this video.

  • hey bro, where you guys from? i too am from so cal and i would like to meet up with people who crawl too. i am in ontario-91761 right off the 60 freeway and euclide. lol, it gets boring with only 2 guys in the hobby. would be sick to have more then just 2 crawlers

  • @sick66caddy I'm not out in socal anymore. socalrcrc[.]org is where to go for get together and comp info. There's tons of guys in your area. RCP Crawlers is still located in Upland as well though I'm not sure if they're doing friday night get togethers currently.

  • i love or winchin teckniquk

    favorate part

  • the leaf springs on the front of the black Toyota is cool... was that chassis custom made? Same with the tube crawler, custom made?

  • What tires do the hilux use?

  • the rustic black toyota hilux is definatly the star of the show, very cool, very detailed, and the tube chassis crawler is very cool.

  • whats the name of the second song?

  • what wuld you recomend to get into rock crawling because i have a nitro stampede and its not fun any more?

  • Tamiya bruiser cutoff camper.

  • What body is the black Toyota truck with the missing headlight?

  • driver at 54-5 is mint do u use any foam? uu know in the tires?

  • cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where do you get the rock sliders and accesories at?

  • driver of the green jeep is good.

  • Well that's a competition rig that weighs a fraction of what the scale trucks do. So it's not too challenging.

  • how much time the battery last?

  • I love this vid and I have watched it probably 100 times. 5/5. I was wondering what wheels those are on the tuber? Thanks.

  • Glad you like it.

Those are old Mike Thompson bruiser wheels.

  • all you are missin' is a camera in a truck! that would also be some sick video!

  • hum?? lead weights, never thought of that, how do they do that ? stick them on the rim, or the inside of the rubber tire.how did the airsoft bb's work, you would think they would not be heavy enough..

  • very cool guys!! the toyota looks great. gotta love scale!!! are you guys running bb's in your tires?? i have a 1,000 bb's in each of my tires on my scorpian..

  • We used to, now most people use the lead stick-on weights like automotive tire shops use. It's really a personal preference though. I used airsoft bbs for a while without foams and liked that quite a bit too.

  • @pigeonfarmboy

Call me a "newb", lol, but why would you put weights in the tires? Lower the center of gravity and add weight for traction?

  • You got it.

  • what wheel is the black hilux runnin

  • RC4WD 2.2 narrow beadlocks.

  • Where do I get an FJ40 Body? I'm sure you probably said somewhere in all the comments, but I didnt see it.

  • Tamiya makes a nice one.

  • right on, thanks

  • Where can you get the scale coolers and accesiores?? Plz reply.

  • is the land cruiser a high lift setup? and wat mods are done to those high lifts to make them look like that landcruiser on here

  • FJ40 is a Tamiya Bruiser chassis. My personal opinion is to get rid of the stock high-lift chassis and convert it to a bruiser or scx10 steel c-channel frame. Doesn't get anymore scale then that.

  • love the toyota the 86 toyota....kick ass

  • can you please tell me where to find a 4 link kit for a hi lift? thnks

  • I don't think such a thing exsists. It's not very hard to make up the links yourself. The HL kit even comes with alot of parts you can use to do the conversion.

  • nice toys guys....nice video too...I like the music....Wish I had other people here in NC to do this with. :-(

  • Awesome vid but the music is a bit fast for the pics I reckon....maybe some blues would be good.

  • do you know how to put coil overs on a high lift with out 4 linking it? can you ask your fellow crawlers

  • Not possible. The leaf springs act as an axle attachment point to the frame.

  • were do you buy crawlers like that

  • rcpcrawlers[.]com!

  • great video, awesome cars. that hilux rocks. I'm just starting in the sport. got a cc-01 shit box. is the trail finder a good buy?

  • Haven't tried one myself so I can't say for sure. There are many products coming to the market shortly so it may be beneficial to wait a few months.

  • 1 question... do the tires have real air in them???

  • They are not pressurized. Foam inserts hold the shape.

  • the fj cruiser looks ssooooo sick!!

  • BEST GOD DAM VIDEO IN THE HOLE DAM WORLD.

Cant wait till I get my axial ax10 scorpion X-trail.

  • Who sings that last song? Trying to remember and I can't and it's driving me nuts... thanks.

  • At The Drive-In

  • thx! that site was good. i also wanted to know if the body mounts are the same on the ax10 and the ax10 rtr.

  • does anyone know of a very good online rc store

  • I like rcpcrawlers[.]com but I'm biased...

  • great job!

  • that is one of the best vids on youtube, that toyota pickup is rad.

  • how much is a cheap rc truck crawler

  • what kind of wire do you use for winches?

  • Deep Sea fishing line works great!

  • Ill ask again are those axles custom or can you buy em and where if so. thx.

  • Tamiya TLT axles. Axial AX-10 axles would work just as well too. Check out rcpcrawlers[.]com

  • great crawler vid...where can I get a FJ body like that in the end shot, the grey late model body style

  • at 3:13, what kind of axes are those? please reply.

    nice video bro

  • Tamiya Bruiser/Mountaineer. They made them from the mid 80s to early 90s.

  • has anyone figured out the servo for a winch, I would like to know I am buying 2 of them soon and would like to put a winch on while Im building?

  • you just have to open up the winch and grind off the stop so it rotates freely.

  • hey i just want to no how well the axial ax10 is compared to the new tamiya coming out i want to know what to buy cuz my dad wants the tamiya but i want the axial i guss cuz my dad grew up with the froger and blackfoots

  • it depends on what you want to do with it. if you plan on competing, get the axial. if you plan on just having fun, get either.

  • thanks ill concider that

  • great video. i love the toyota

  • these custom made with pivots on there axles?

  • no, these are pivotless axles.

  • yo where can find the instructions on how to turn the servo into a winch i found it before but i lost it. pleaseee help!!!

  • man nice bruiser I hope to make one simaler to that when I get another $200.00 then I'll have enough. But now ill stick to my nitro stadium max. keep on doin watch ya do guys smaxx456

  • where do you find the old toyota bodies?off

    toys or what?

  • Tamiya just remanufactured the toyota bodies for the new hilux they're making.

  • do u know how much ther gana wana know for that new he lux(the RC Toyota Land Cruiser 40 - CR01 corect?)

  • so where can you buy these things? I like the old school FJ, and i'd love to get one.

  • i dont think you can buy em this way. you have to make or fabricate most of it yourself

  • Yes at this point they are fab jobs. That's soon to change with a new Tamiya kit coming however.

  • i built my own winch i took a tamiya engine and put a battel with some thin steel wire around it and when i need to tug i just switch it on and make it go forward with the tamiya remote and it starts to pull in

  • You have great taste in music!

  • were do you get a winch?

  • Gotta make one out of a servo now. Ben @ Montana Scale Designs is making badass winches right now though. They should be out very soon.

  • i loooove that shorty forty series brings bak a wonderful memory of ours it climbed everything

  • im going to buil one but i got to get some moeny coz im only 13

  • hey guys r the monee and time put into them worth it

  • hi, i love the fj 40 body, i was wondering if you could tell me were to buy an rc fj 40 or an fj cruiser great video, great cars

  • look for the "Bushwacker" on rcpcrawlers[.]com

  • how much was the fj cuiser

  • Probably around $500. Alot of custom body work though.

  • were can u get one

  • never mind I saw your other vid regarding TLT axles and tranny

  • who'se axles are you using on the black Bruiser and what tranny are you using?

  • I want to start this type of RC but what is the best Crawler to start with, and to modify?

  • fuck thats awsome

  • i never get tired of this shit

  • Nice video & rigs...!

    trial-riders(dot)de

  • what is the landcruzer and toyota chassis

  • Elaborate on your question please, I don't understand what you're asking.

  • I think that it is the same as the hilux

  • wow! best

  • do u have any jeeps on sale

  • Such a nice video, i love Scale-Rigs, but i'm miles away from building such nice Rigs.

My question is: What's the name of the first song before "on a rope"?

And: are the bumpers (front/rear) of the bushwacker welded tubes or ready bought from another kit?

  • "Medication" by Queens of the Stone Age

    They are brazed tube bumpers

  • Thank you! You've got a nice taste in music! Rock 4 the Rocks! Now i'll look into my dictionary to find out what "brazed" means (i'm from germany, not the best english-skills) - Rock On!

    ;-)

  • awsome vid. I started on my own fj,highlift, and wheely king. keep on wheeling

  • hi just wondering if there are any sites tht will explane where abouts in canada i can get one of those awsome trucks even if it is an american site my dad and i fell in love with the trucks tnx for the great movie

  • rcpcrawlers ships internationally!!

  • you have to build them yourself or buy 1 from rcpitstop

    free bump

  • where do u buy cheap ready made crawlers cause i wanna get into them but im very bad at building things

  • Doesn't exist yet. The closest thing ready-to-run out of the box is the HPI Wheely King 4x4. A few modifications and it performs well.

  • yeah but ive had lots of experiance in hpi models and the last time i had one it was that rubbish i stepped on it so just have a go building a rock crawler and please don't waste your money on a hpi. eg ebay=rc hilux/pajero

  • HPI products are every bit as good as other top of the line manufacturers. There's no reason not to consider them.

  • the black toyota iz so cool 2 keep up like that

  • hey i was wondering how the toyota truck was made. was it with a custom chassis or was it made from a company.

  • the song at the end is "cosmonaut" by at the drive-in

  • this sounds like queens of the stone age

  • what song is this?

  • i looks almost life size except for all the people walking around and this vid is awsome 5 stars

  • Wow those are the coolest RC off road toys I have ever seen. Where can I get the parts to make my own like those?!

  • Some parts have been discontinued but if you're interested in a Land Cruiser then check out the Proline "Bushwacker" body on RCPcrawlers[.]com. If you have minor building/fab skills you can make a chassis yourself and get all the axles/trans/wheels/tires from RCP as well. Write me if you get stuck!

  • Thanks very much!

  • where did you get those f-j cruiser bodies from (new or old one).

  • where can i find a cheap bruiser chassis

  • Cheap + Bruiser = Rare Occurance

  • no kiddin. is their any way i can make my hi lift have as much articulation at the bruiser

  • Sure! 4-link the rear and get rid of/or raise the stock transmission. I was able to mount an RC4WD R2 trans pretty simply. Driveshaft angle might be a problem though.

  • ok haw would i fix the driveshaft problem

  • Research! I can't do all the work for you!

  • thank you for all your help. finaly i found some one who knows wat their doing

  • lol...thats funny...quick question...what do you think of the t rex axles? def. more scale looking than the stockers on my high lift.

  • on a rope

  • Whats the name of the 2nd song????

  • "On A Rope" Rocket From The Crypt

  • how did you hook up the winch on the other car

  • to ze bumper!

  • are those electric or gas

  • electric. nitro does not work for crawling. nitro is for fast speeds only.

  • hey whats the name of the first song??

    kick ass video btw

  • awesome trucks. Never seen tires like that on crawlers.... those are very realistic.

  • how fast do these things go when you open them up

  • About as fast as you can walk. Depends on motor used though.

  • dude i love how you used the winch

  • sweet video...love the rides

  • Hands Down the most bad ass video on you-tube. I have a couple of questions: What chassis the red landcruiser is on, what mods have beed done to it, What chassis is the black toy on and what axles are under it. How do I mod a servo to make a winch. I thank you for any info you can give me. keep on crawling.

  • go to the rccrawler DOT com/winch Dot htm and it tells you how to do this

  • Nice freakin crawlin man! These are the coolest rc crawlers ive seen... are they fast too? Im thinkin a nice wheelie to start to bridge that gap would have been cool.. sick tho

  • Depends on motor. The new Novak Crawler Brushless motor is capable of wheel stands. Usually what's used is a 45-55 turn motor to mimic low-geared transfer cases on the 1:1 vehicles.

  • damn...UM...BADASSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!....i love this!!!!!!!! great trucks man..im lovin the newer black one, the newest toyota out..lol and can we say...TOYOTA...lol...

  • how much do these trucks cost? do they run on battery or gas man thats bad ass

  • That was cool how you made it look like they were real trucks.

  • That 79 looks so sick

  • this is the most intense thing ive ever seen. especially one truck pulling another up the wall that was sick!

  • at first i thought these were real but then i saw giants in the background and put 2&2 together

  • Where do You All Buy Lockers/Diff Lock For ur R/C Jeeps?Any Websites? Thanks~

  • rcpcrawlers

  • now thats cool!!!!!!!!

  • yo wich rig is yours

  • The Flat Black Toyota truck and the Buggy with bruiser axles.

  • dude i thing that bruiser is so cool. remindes me of my hilift. how do you make those winches

  • Just a modified servo.

  • thanks bro, btw iam pretty sure youve got the hottest body in that truck ive ever seen, would you mind making a video of the insides?

  • Insides as in chassis or interior?

  • theres an interior!!?? crazy... well i guess both if you wouldnt mind

  • Do a google image search for Tamiya Bruiser. I'll take some video of the rig next time I'm out.

  • hello does anyone know where i can get on that is built. are they all one-off built. how long is the run time on one batt? thanks-

  • All these you see in the video are one-off customs. Do some research on rccrawler.

  • whats the last song ?

  • "Cosmonaut" by At The Drive-In

  • thats the best thing to do with rc's. well drifting is cool too.

  • sweet bruiser has that under costruction look

  • haha

    they're so cuute.

They even have their little R/C friends helping each other out.

    but that's siick.

    Love R/C vehicles.

  • Best rc video i've seen. Very good work. Me and my son wanted to get some of these but I ended up getting an 05 Jeep Unlimited and am putting money into that instead. We are selling a revo with extra parts, an rc10 and an ofna ultra mbx with extras for 800.00 for all.

  • Realy amasing, just unbeliable what these R/C cars can do. I do live in the wrong part of world.
