Unsure whats going on here - very little tube tone and wayyy too much gain at each setting. I appreciate doing the mods, but it does not seem to hve paid off.
Mike, I did not touch anything in the gain stage, I only added higher resistors on tone, and swapped tubes. My intention is to get it "out of the mud."
wow, sounds just as bad as the one I have....sweet....=)
