  • this is not army is a kind of special forces police.(Jandarmeria) and they are enough tough even w/o qwan ki do

  • That's true, it's Qwan ki do self defense. And it's just soft part.

  • but this is no qwankido, this is self defense

  • Qwan Ki Do is a traditional Vietnamese, Master PHAM XUAN TONG founder of

    QWAN KI DO.

  • Yes it's a kung fu.

  • Looks like a combination of jujutsu throws and kung fu.

  • Cool...

I am interest in taking Qwan Ki Do, is there any school in the US?

  • Comprehensive training in Qwan Ki Do includes: A Large Variety of Techniques - hand techniques - blocks and grappling - sweeps - self-defense - throwing techniques - arm locks - falling techniques - breaking techniques - street fighting

    Meditation and Breathing Techniques

    Traditional Weapons

  • Qwan Ki Do is a traditional Vietnamese Kung Fu with origins in Chinese Shaolin Wo-Mei and Vietnamese Quan Khi, which came to prominence during Vietnam's Le (Emperor Le Hoan) Dynasty, 1009 A.D

  • by the way, is there any studio in the USA; I would like to join...

  • no, that's definately form#1 from ITF - search for "Chon Ji".

  • It really is Qwan Ki Do and what you call form #1 is called Bon Linh Mot in Qwan Ki Do. However, since these forms (i.e., doc luyen) are some hundred years old it is not uncommon that they are present in more than one martial arts style.

  • No, it's qwan-ki-do.

  • wait a minute this is Taekwondo

    (ITF style) form #1
