  • This dog is so cute, and so patient!

  • I <3 Bichons and their Smiles :)

  • what exactly has she done that is mean the dog is very happy he or she would try to runaway if she was hurting it ..she is a very good groomer and hasnt done anything mean , by the way the dog looks great and is smilling

  • What a mean person. Poor doggie. I would never allowed her to come near my dog!!! HE IS SO SCARED!!

  • @sandy4498 Your an idiot you obviously don't know how to read dog body language and what in the video have you seen that proves she is mean?! So ignorant!!!

  • BE NICE TO THE DOG DONT HURT IT!!! u need to handle dogs with LOVE not ABUSE

  • Race, color, has nothing to do with it. You need someone who knows what they are doing and takes the time to groom. My sweetheart is my life 6 months ago I was upset with myself that I could not give her the right training. I'm in the med field vet so I don't know about training. I just take my time hug her all the time and we go for walks she comes to the shore house, to NH she is our daughter. But Meadow needs a good groomer the groomer just shaved her down and cut her I ws so upset

  • My Bichon has never been hit. I do not believe it hitting and I worry about the groomers because Meadow is so very difficult to groom. I am trying to get a groomer to come to the house. Or I will have my vet office clip her. I am not taking her back . I love them and I love her more than I can begin to tell you and thank you for our kind e mail. Meadow and I will always be one. Hugs

  • I am so sorry I was so upset with myself I love my Meadow so much and we are very close. I worked with her. I spent time to understand her. I gave her attention and she is so much fun. She is from a rescue. I wish I could find someone that will give her a cut like yours. They just chop her down to the skin. The last groomer cut her and I am taking care of it. Meadow and I can not be separated ever. I am a stay at home mom and I took time to work with her sorry for the horrible message.

  • man I wish I had good quality bichons come into my shop lol! This one is beautiful and has a great looking coat. I get all the crappy ones lol

  • The groomer does have a heavy hand but that's what happens when the clock start clickin in shops. She seems to be a good groomer though and would benefit from a little change of attitude.

That said though, I have lots of Asian customers who happen to have Bichons and they sure adore them and actually follow my instructions

for brushing etc between grooms which makes grooming them a pleasure.

  • Someone need to report her to animal control. As I'm watching this video i'm getting so upset with this lady.

  • @tinillia Someone should report your idiot comment!

  • She is mean to little dog who is so innocent and well behave. I would hate it if my dog is treated like that. The dog should not learn to react aggressively.

  • Damn this lady is rough I sure don't want her grooming my bichon. Bichon's are so great and adorable. I don't understand how u can rid of one once you own one

  • I'll be buying a Bichon n I am so exited

I hope it is damn cute

THIS GROOMER IS SO HARSH N GROOMS D CUTIE LIL BICHON SO BADLY

  • I'll be buying a Bichon n I am so exited

I hope it is damn cute

  • @Twinkzrok11 Every Bichon is cute =)

  • I own one it's horrible a night mare. My groomer won't groom her like that just choped her hair off and they have been in business 30 years. She said she never see such a terrible puppy. Mine is going to the SPCA SOON there terrible dogs and I love her but can't handle her she is worse than my horses.

  • @diane189444

If she's still a puppy, I am disappointed you didn't give her a chance to grow up. They don't just come in perfect packages, they need to be trained and exercised, like any other dog. If she is grown up you should've trained her better when she was young, but she can still be trained. If you want something to cuddle with, get a stuffed animal.

  • @diane189444 Aw, I hate to hear that, and I wish I had seen your message sooner...I would have gladly taken your Bichon and give her a loving home, with my Bichon, Lilli. :~( I adore this breed, they can be a little energetic and stubborn, sometimes, but the sweetness more than makes up for it. They are not a breed that should be left alone, though, if you work all day. They need stay-at-home mommies. Left alone too much and they can get bad behavior.

  • This groomer is a bit rough...the Bichon is gorgeous. I have a Bichon and she loves getting groomed, but her groomer is a sweetheart and loves the dogs.

  • CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • First of all, I'm offended by what that racist "Apex" puta posted previously. Secondly, I have a bichon, I'm asian & I love him! I adopted him Christmas 2009 from a rescue group. I thought this groomer was impatiently handling this dog before I even scrolled downed to read the comments. ugh...I hate mean people!

  • This is no dog, it's a poor "thing" that's probably not even allowed to run around and get dirty.

  • What a bitch!

  • Stop moving or I eat you.

  • my bichon charlie will never like this groomer

  • is that how u treat a bichon? fuck u

  • @bryz4r

She's asian, what do you expect. They no respect for wildlife, let alone pets.

  • @ApexIXMR HEY!!!!!!!!!

  • @ApexIXMR HEY!!!!!!!!!

  • @ApexIXMR Wow! racist much? let me guess you'd probably think the same thing about Black people too huh?

Newsflash: there are thousands of abandoned dogs and cats at Animal shelters and a lot of them are either pitbulls and chihuahuas...don't think it's only Asians who do that to their pets.

  • @SirBigDICKNigga

Oh please, put the "Race card" away. You people love to pull it on other when they are speaking the truth.

  • @ApexIXMR haha and it's true that Asians aren't the only ones who are cruel to animals. I guess you never hard of slaughter houses. Keep that mind mind next time you see a hamburger or steak.

  • we have a bichon and we are it's third owner. bichons are fragile in the knee caps, can have seizures, and are a super sweet dog. they do not deserved to be hit.

  • This groomer need a good slap.

  • Comment removed

  • WHY do people do this to their bichons? They look horrible. My girlfriends bichon, Jasper is a right scruff, he looks awesome.

  • omg..at first when I saw the groomer pull the dogs leg I thought ..did that just happen?, then she looked as if she was going to cut the dogs leg and then...what rough hands....omg...stay away from this one!!

  • that bichon is just too precious and very calm.

too bad the groomer had a rough hand.

  • yea, she was somewhat rough, that was a good groom dog. she was in her zone and didn't notice. WOW she posted it too! i am a groomer who has known 8 groomers and four of which i would not take MY dog too. shit changes when you start chasing the money, and loose the passion. never go anywhere you don't have the option to spy/watch, even though we don't like to be watched.( it makes us feel rushed, so do it on the low ok )

  • This groomer is so rude.Treat them kindly just like your pets!!!

  • Hey Lady... you are nasty! That poor little Bichon is so sweet why are you so mean?

Get another job. I do not trust you.

  • omgeee she is wayy rough with that poor baby:(

i would nvr take my lily BICHON to her>:(

and i am3303 your so right she is way rude @the end

  • she didnt protect the dog at all, if the dog is moving suddenly, she would cut the hurt the dog!!! and she is very rude at the end!

  • He has cheeks like he is the Mayor of Poodles =) Very useful info., Thank you.

  • lovely dog,i have two Bichon;s and they are now my favourite breed.

    intelligent and loving,who needs a pit-ball?

  • Hee hee. Bichons are so cute! I have noticed there are two different cuts that are typical from Bichon groomers. A Bell Shape on the head (like the video) and a round cut. I prefer the round head. But I wonder if in different countries the bell shape is preferred over the round.

  • aww look at the bichon smiling. so cute!

  • she was such a cutie , im a groomer you have to be kind but firm , play time when you finish your trim , dont like the scissoring she was all over the place !

  • Great job! It's tough to groom a Bichon but this one looks beautiful! I love how it has the poofiness but it doesn't have the overpowering face.

  • Why are all of these grooming salons absolute messes, full of clutter and dirt on youtube? My salon is super clean and has basics only! You do not need to make your salon look like it should be on an episode of "Hoarders" (great show by the way... makes me clean lol)

  • Beautiful Bichon! Looks like my Lola :) Groomer does a fantastic job and this bichon seems rather pleased to be on camera...tee hee :)

  • love this hairstyle <3 <3 <3

  • i can never get my ichon celest to look as fluffy and stay so calm i guess its her gay attitude (happy)

  • Anybody that has said she was rough is out of there mind! The groomer was good and so was the dog! Great cut and well behaved dog!! Wounder, Great, pretty cutt!!!!

  • You people are nuts!!! This is grooming! This is why you love the way your dogs look when you pick them up from the groomers! This is why you take them there. Dont like it dont go!

  • bichon frise is so adorable <3

  • Why is she so rough with the dog? It makes me not want to send my dog to a groomer . Uggh!

  • Rrough? This groomer was wonderfulI, wish I had that dog on my grooming table!!! If people had a clue on how there dogs acked on a grooming table they would tip there grommers 10 times more. Some of these dogs are little asses and bite and you wounder why they dont look like top knot! It is because they move, turn, bite, and turn circles on the grooming table. If you can do better DO IT YOUR SELF. You Should thank her for her kindness to your dog, and TIP her well!!!!

  • soooo cuuute !!

  • look at my dog it look just like snowbell

  • looks like my dog

  • Is it me but those shears were too sharp when he was cutting the chest and up the throat and the paw part I was sweating beads of sweat she is extremely too rough its like she don't want to do it!!! If I was the person filming I would of stopped the tape and took it to a better professional or try to do it myself!!!

  • I was wincing when she had that giant scissors next to the paw..at first I was going to defend her, but she is a bit rough, the little dog seems very calm and tolerant though

  • beautiful scissoring, not the best technique that i have seen, but, the results were fine, so i guess thats all that matters

but if she developed her scissoring technique better, she could have scissored 2 legs (or at least finished that leg) by now

  • I would never send my bichon to her... I rather do it myself.

  • @gonzabba what exactly has she done that is mean the dog is very happy he or she would try to runaway if she was hurting it ..she is a very good groomer and hasnt done anything mean , by the way the dog looks great and is smilling

  • @gonzabba ok i saw thedog getting close to the edge of the table looking at the camera should she have let ihm fall?

  • Woah!! She is rough with him/her. Poor thing.

  • Bichon's are very sensitive - that is a breeding trait not a learned thing. Once you raise your voice or are overtly physical the grooming session is over...

  • use thinning shears

  • you must be firm when grooming the dog they must know your in control. If you think she is rough than your grooming career is over before it began.

  • very true, there is a difference between being mean and being firm....don't ever be mean!!! i hate groomers who hit dogs

  • This groomer needs to go to jail... if this lady doesn't like like grooming dogs , then she shouldn't be doing this job..she/you are inpatient i strongly know this job isn't for her!!!

where in the hell or how in the hell do people like this creature become this mean to animals..animals certainly don't have to suffer for other peoples miserable lives...but yes please do get any other job...

  • sigh.. feel like slapping the groomer.. the bichon is so adorable, laughing all the time with "wahahah!"

  • She was a little rough, a little not. See, the whole cut itself was overall pretty good. I did, however, not agree with the grabbing and pushing of the head. See, the grabbing of the head did not hurt the dog, but it could have. If the dog were to move at anytime, the dog wouldv'e been cut. You just have to take more a percausion. Cute bichon though!

  • The groomer looks like she does not like the dog.

  • that groomer is a bitch!

  • i don't like this groomer, no affection to the pet

  • What a well behaved dog-if only my bichon was like this at the groomer's!

And the majority of bichons aren't show dogs. This is exactly the haircut my bichon gets. Honestly I find the "show dog" haircut ridiculous. And if you see the title of the video, it is A hairstyle not THE bichon hairstyle.

  • that was rude how she yanked that poor dogs head at 2:37

  • groomer is good at scissoring legs. but a little rough with the handling of the dog

  • this groomer needs to be either fired or spoken too. if that were my Bichon she yanked around roughly. i would tell the manger or not take my dog there anymore.

  • My Bichon Wills lays down while I groom him and then he gets up for a while and then he lays down. We work it out together!

  • I am a groomer and I don't yank dogs heads around like that. Try using a restraint system if you have difficulty controlling your dogs, but tbh, this wee one didn't seem to be misbehaving.

  • I agree with you, and I'm also a groomer.

You see, videos and groomers like this make us all look bad. Pet owners think all groomers will man handle their beloved pets.

Not everyone should groom. Some people just lack patience, and should seek other lines of work.

To the groomer in this video; Your work seems good enough, but you can't control pets like this.

Personally, if you treated my pet like that, I'd shove your shears up your rectum.

  • pinkpoodle1963, that's exactly what I was thinking while watching this vid. I thought I hope my groomer doesn't do this to my dog. She is mean, you can see it in her miserable face.

  • i have a bicon too :)

  • so cute!!

  • so cute

  • I don't think the groomer had a proper way to grooming a dog! The first, to groom a Bichon has to keep brushing her hair out. Second, where was her loops? That was too rough without thinking a dog safety. Third, the groomer didn't have a right grooming skills.

  • Each of us as groomers have are own opinion as to what exactly is rough or not and it will differ but the concern should not be on wether it's too rough or not but on whether the pet was harmed or hurt in anyway and from what I say it wasn't although I do recommend a grooming arm and/or groomers helper loops.

  • i know she was totali ruff it's not like he or she was not behaving or anything. She just kept grabbing him or her so hard :(

  • ew i hate that style on bichans. my bichan looks so cute♥

  • She was not rough at all. You get some dogs that are very hard to control. This one seemed pretty easy to handle to me. I am a groomer.

  • You should jerk that poor dog around a little more... geese

  • thats a BITCHIN hairstyle....

  • PLEEEEEEEEASE get yourself a "h" bar and restrain the dog CORRECTLY so that grooming is safe!! If the dog had jumped or turned when shaping near the neck area your scissors would have stabbed him!! i'm a groomer myself. Never take unness risks, you could do yourself out of business

  • I have a bichon he looks EXACLY like that one! My Mom is looking for more hairsyles!

  • what a doll!!!

  • Aw! He (she?) looks so happy to be groomed!

  • The Bichon head is not suppose to look like that. The ears are suppose to be invisible within the head. Rounded into the overall look and not cut separately.

  • oh...nd datz not rough...this dog walks into table legs yet he stil jumps all ova afta!!! hes absoolutli cute puppy! luv yu mr m.!!!

  • omigawd april!!! hes soooooooooo kewt!!!

  • parece de jugete....

  • I think most groomer like myself would agree that wasn't rough handling. Espcially if you considering that she's probably charging $45-55 dollars but if she allow that pet to move alot and she cuts it with the scissors the vet bill will probably end up being about

    $150 dollars.

  • I'm a groomer and I don't agree. That person was a little rough. There is no need to jerk a dog around like that.

  • How do you get a dog to behave? I am a groomer and I have had some dogs that you cannot control at all.

  • Some dogs you have to admit defeat with, but about 90% of dogs I groom stand fairly still. If you groom a dog regularly you get to know its temperament and vice versa, so grooming is not a problem. Dogs that come in less frequently are more difficult to handle.

  • i wish all these people that are stating that she was rough with the dog actually tried to groom a dog. i am a groomer myself and i belive that in order to achieve a great haircut the groomer must have control at all times.

  • COME ON PEOPLE!!!!!

this is not being rough!!! I promise you!! if you keep watching grooming videos around here you gonna see what I'm talking about.

It seems that this "grabbing chin thing" is very common among groomers and it's just that... a firm grabbing. you gotta be firm! did you see how pointy those scissors are?!?!

and... btw... I just finished watching a video from wag a tail something... the groomer was pulling the dogs ears... and THAT is bad!

  • I agree with mytealz, you do have to be firm otherwise the dog will misbehave and walk all over you, believe me, gentle, kind but firm, after all you have a pair of scissors in your hands and you have to have the dog co operating with you.

  • Dogs have very thin skin, so if they get poked with scissors it really hurts and bleeds. Quit the crap about her being rough!

  • Hey! Nice cut! My bichon never had a hair cut yet and he is so hyper! I hope Carlitos be as nice as this puppy!

  • wtf thats 1 bad hairdresser :(

  • If you people knew anything about dog grooming you would understand that u have to be firm to have control over the dog and respect, otherwise the dog may get cut... see how when she pushed the dogs head up it stayed, cos it knows

not rough at all - perfect cut

  • Didn't know that about dogs....maybe that's the reason after every grooming of mine...i need crutches!

  • maybe when she snatched her or his head but the rest was fine

  • if only you were a groomer?I have been grooming for 21 years.I hate when people like you say shit like this. She is not hurting the dog .

  • hey~ wat will happen if the bichon moves and ur scissors are pointy u know? bcareful wif dat!

  • what a bitch why is she so rough poor dog

how much is grooming how much did u pay

  • What a great dog!!! My bichon doesn't sit so nice.

  • There is nothing rough about this!

  • she is really rough..

  • I agree I did not see anything rough about it. Nice cut.

  • Rough handling? She's fine! Nice haircut!

  • Beautiful scissoring!

I did not see any "rough" handeling, maybe the dog should have been on a leash to keep still but she was only trying to hold the dog still, I saw nothing rough about it. The dog pulling away from her made it seem like it was her fault, but rest assured there was not any mistreatment going on here, just an antsy dog :)

  • You're handling the dog too roughly! Be a little gentle. Goshh.

  • Dont be so rough with the dog, is that how you are handled is it?

  • Maybe just a slight bit rough when handling the dog........She tries to hide it but it is well apparent.......

  • i would never go here--oh my god--that poor dog!

  • u did a great job
