@mikojan85channel I think that rolling road calibration is out slightly on the rpm as 7200 is meant to be standard limiter. But since this it has run 163hp and a 162hp on 2 different rolling roads.
Other mods are 52mm tb and port matched inlet manifold. Has been a wicked engine has taken alot of abuse.
I've got a 160 bhp vvc engine lying around from an mg zr 160. How easy is it to fit in the mini? What subframes and mounts are you using etc? If you could send me some insight I'd be really interested in doing the same thing...
Thats alot of power for a 1.8 but i supose thats what K's are about power to weight. Its just a shame the head gaskets can be a bit weak. I still think there ace tho.

+21 hp with only these 2 modifications? What an exhaust system does it have? Original ECU? Doesnt rev limit hit before 7300?

@KINGBOOTY36 the original manifold has been replaced or just tuned? Cylinder head was original? Exhaust pipes were original or some custom made?

Complete engine is 20kg lighter than A series. Gearing is spot on @ 80mph @4000rpm 5 speed. 50mpg if drivin carefull
0 - 100mph in 14 seconds but i have now fitted a lsd so may come down to 12.
