The father of one of my friends had the same background as Darren, he married my friend´s mother when they were very young, they got 3 boys very soon, their marriage maintained till the day his mother found the husband was a guy, she still didnt say much, till the day he said to her I wanted a divorce, I couldnt cheat you anymore.

No boomy that's not true. Daniel is married to a woman, Kathleen de Leon, and they have a child. Daniel just prefers to work behind the scenes in producing and mixing for other artists. Darren is gay, and married to his partner Richard Cullen, and as I said earlier, still releasing albums.

Darren actually refers to himself as "gay" not "bi". Just because he was married to a woman doesn't mean he's bisexual. He has said himself that he made a mistake in confusing love for his best "girl" friend as romantic love.

I love the new DVD partridge101. Obviously I'm a huge fan of Darren's music, but the DVD is so beautiful to watch, even if you weren't listening to the music. It's a true work of art. Darren & Richard (and Damien Hale on 2 of the videos) did a brilliant job. Genius!!

Heard that he's now still in Australia, owns his own music studio and helps some artists writing, arranging, composing songs etc etc. sorta producer-like... That's what i know :)

Yes boomy370 you're right, Darren is still singing, he's released 3 albums since SG. Daniel now runs his own recording studio in Sydney, but he keeps a very low profile these days. :)

No boomy that's not true. Daniel is married to a woman, Kathleen de Leon, and they have a child. Daniel just prefers to work behind the scenes in producing and mixing for other artists. Darren is gay, and married to his partner Richard Cullen, and as I said earlier, still releasing albums.

already knew he was realising albums ...thats no secret
and no that is his EX-wife
and you cant be married to two people at once, it's illegal (techincly his bi but that like it matters if he stright, bi, or gay) some artist would like to keep their personal lives outa the way thats why they work behind the scenes

I'm afraid you are very confused Boomy. Darren is gay and married to Richard, he was previously married to a women but divorced back in the late 90's. Daniel is straight and married to Kathleen de Leon, and has only ever been married once. Google them, we are talking about two different people here, you seem to be confusing the two.

Sweetheart let's not get into an argument about it, I was only giving you a few facts about things you were unaware of. When I originally said he was keeping a low profile, (which you then commented on) I was talking about Daniel, read back over it. Darren is no longer living in the US he now lives in the UK with Richard and has done for 4 years. Check out his fan club if you like, that has all the info. Have a nice day :)

Darren actually refers to himself as "gay" not "bi". Just because he was married to a woman doesn't mean he's bisexual. He has said himself that he made a mistake in confusing love for his best "girl" friend as romantic love.

I've got mine on order. It's not actually his concert DVD, that was called The Time Machine Tour and was released a few months ago. This one is video clips of 13 of the songs from This Delicate Thing We've Made. Most have been made by Darren's partner Richard. Should be fantastic. :)

I love the new DVD partridge101. Obviously I'm a huge fan of Darren's music, but the DVD is so beautiful to watch, even if you weren't listening to the music. It's a true work of art. Darren & Richard (and Damien Hale on 2 of the videos) did a brilliant job. Genius!!

Love SG, can't live without their music or DH since he went solo. Have it on everywhere I listen to music, drive my family crazy even converted my neighbours 10 doors away!fantastic lyrics in all the songs, esp the one which contains the words " you make me feel like my father never loved me " can't remember the title but beautiful song

That song with the lyric 'you make me feel like my father never loved me' is called 'Unloveable'. It's one of my favourites and the first time I heard it, I got a little teary.

Love this man and appreciate him, he has a solo career now and needs your support. Yes I'm sad over the breakup, too, but he has so much to offer, his talent alone is earthshaking.

the lyrics (and Darren's voice) are so amazing. It kind of sums up exactly what I feel about this girl I used to know. Every time I listen to this song it reminds me of her, the good times we used to have, and just how much I miss her.
