They really mean your video views should be increased (100,000 is a bit low for them to accept)...Channel views simply means that different channels find and visit your channel but don't necessarily watch your vids.

In my experience, youtube partners people that have a lot how to videos and such. I'm not sure if you can get a partnership with just slide shows, because it is still copyrighted (if you're using pics of hot girls). Nature is fine if it's your own pic,and provide commentaries and why these pictures are so great. I don't know exactly how they became partners with copyrighted music, my guess is that they got permission to use it from WMG or UMG

So, do vlogs and news kind of videos count, because I've seen Smosh and all they do is comedy, same with Fred, I don't see any education or tutorial type things posted on their accounts, would my videos count as being "creative and/or original?"

on you're Baraca account - avoid uploading TV shows...like HAT Trick. They should NOT be uploaded because it violates copyright infringement. You need exclusive permission from the producers to allow it for fair use. Especially if you're going to choose to make money off it, you have to state how you own the material.
Is there anyway to disable the partnership appication...? YT keeps sending it to me and I always have to click on "I'm not intrested" for obvious reasons, but they won't stop sending it to me and I can't disable it so I can't continue uploading videos and the stupid partnership application is why I got suspended in the first place! I just got my account back and it's annoying me to death that I can't disable the application without having to reupload my vids over and over..
So a majority of my videos have to deal with other stuff other than video game walkthroughs... So it can't just be all about video games, well that sucks. But I can still do reviews, so I don't know, I may not want partnership...
Its troublesome because gaming walkthroughs have become mainstream. This means everyone's doing it so its gonna be tough unless you can pull off something as good or better than reviewers such as angry nintendo nerd or let's play'ers like ProtonJon
like reviews. You have to explain what the game is about, what's the targeted age groups, any pros and cons into the game. Also your walkthrough passages. You need to explain why you would choose one path over another, (easier or harder) and the like
If the automated response does not say " it is unlikely dat u will qualify blah blah blah.....and dat yellow box message not der anymore is dat mean you will become a partner???Just say Yes or No
But these videos have to be original. You can't really put music in your videos because they don't belong to you, and youtube can flag those for copyright infringement.

like reviews. You have to explain what the game is about, what's the targeted age groups, any pros and cons into the game. Also your walkthrough passages. You need to explain why you would choose one path over another, (easier or harder) and the like

But these videos have to be original. You can't really put music in your videos because they don't belong to you, and youtube can flag those for copyright infringement.

Could I ask a question? I got an email saying I'm able to apply for this with a video of the ending of a video game. So they approached me instead of me attempting to apply for partnership.
They said as long as it doesn't infringe on copyrights, it's ok, but if it's rejected, then my video gets deleted. What do you think I should do?

good video Jon, I was just wondering, two of my vids got approved for revenue sharing but the ads havnt appeared in 4 days now. Got any idea of how long it will take? And 2, do you know if we can send in a video you want revenue sharing on?

1) it may take a couple of days to weeks. When I got my partnership, it took about a month for the ads to start appearing.
2) If you're a partner, and when you upload a video, it will say if you want to revenue share on it
