This is possible, after red river, the worst game you can get your hands on. And before anyone start to call me a ''codfanboy'' go and play the orginal operation flashpoint (not developed by shitty codemasters) and play arma and see how long you survive.
This game would have been better if they spent a few more months ironing out the glitches, included two or three times more missions with more use of vehicles and more situations and larger battles, shipped with a map/mission editor and free roam mode as standard for the console version and included more factions and weapons. So dissapointed with Red River.
Okay ere it goes, PS3 needs better players. If you are a PS3 player and have this game and semi good or better add me at TTAA23. I like infiltrations but will do anything fun.
I think codemasters still have a chance to make something out of the ofp franchise but only if they return to the realism of the original and not rip on call of duty.
teasing people with cgi is cheap. if the game looked like this and retained (or even refined) the realism of the original, it would be awesome and put arma to shame but they screwed up major.
I hated playing online and having people who didnt know how to command the squad and fireteams, and they wouldn't change to a differnet fireteam either so i just quit.
The reason games are geared towards americans, probley the market. The reason americans always win is because we "engage" each generation in modernwarfare combat, trained combat ensures veterans are leading all soldiers thru experience. This "game" is a simulator and if you want to play it you play as an american.
well.. if you havent heard.. there's a chinese army simulator game equivalent to the american simulator amerca's army 3 game where you play as chinese soliders killing americans. funny thing is.. most americans hate it. hypocrites.

I agree. Dragon Rising was the definition of rubbish. Despite the fact that DR is a lot better than Red River doesn't make DR any better.
The AI in DR is crap, the mission design unintresting and nooby (aswell as the story) and the map editor is restricted, MP unstable with no dedicated servers, unrealistic, and everything is simply unpolished, and there are so many things this ass Sion Lenton promised that never was in the game. On top off all, the game is boring.

@TheDimi11 well there was no recoil on his m21 cause he did have the bipod deployed it was placed in his sholder correctly and its only 7.62x39 also known as the 308. round so being in the army i would know it would be almost no recoil.
This game is crap! It has tons of glitches, bugs, lag, I can't jump either, and the controls doesn't respond accurately either. That is so frustating. Next time Im saving more money to get well-known names such as Battlefield or Call of Duty than getting unknown games like this. I want my money back!
P.D And for those people who say that Im a fanboy of call of duty or sth, just go to the servers of this game, there are very few people playing it, so this game sucks.

I like this game and how they wanted it to be more fun then a war simulator after all. love the shooting air strikes explosion aspect blood gore realism. Scenery lighting all of that is great the land scape. This game is a great game. Wish you had some more air vehicles but they were trying to make it less complicated and easier to play and fun but still a challenge. I like it. I like arma 2 as well. They are both good games

@darthesgoobis123 Not quite... While we did lose the war, we won every single battle. It was a case of win the battle but lose the war kind of thing. Our loss was political, because our government is corrupt and spout lies. Our military did great in Vietnam, despite no help from the South Vietnamese while we were fighting their war.

@TheDimi11 well there was no recoil on his m21 cause he did have the bipod deployed it was placed in his sholder correctly and its only 7.62x39 also known as the 308. round so being in the army i would know it would be almost no recoil.

This game is crap! It has tons of glitches, bugs, lag, I can't jump either, and the controls doesn't respond accurately either. That is so frustating. Next time Im saving more money to get well-known names such as Battlefield or Call of Duty than getting unknown games like this. I want my money back!
P.D And for those people who say that Im a fanboy of call of duty or sth, just go to the servers of this game, there are very few people playing it, so this game sucks.

I like this game and how they wanted it to be more fun then a war simulator after all. love the shooting air strikes explosion aspect blood gore realism. Scenery lighting all of that is great the land scape. This game is a great game. Wish you had some more air vehicles but they were trying to make it less complicated and easier to play and fun but still a challenge. I like it. I like arma 2 as well. They are both good games
