@diaryofthedead to be fair MetalOfAllOwns didn't say to use strictly downpicking. When only one note is being chugged, it doesn't make a *whole lot* of difference but when playing a root 5 power chord, other diads, or fuller chords it makes a huge difference. When chugging the low E string here, adding the 5th and downpicking them really does strengthen the sound. That's how I did it on my version.
