Too bad his 2nd CD is flopping so badly. People said that the first CD did so bad because it "wasn't Bo's music". What's up with "his music" doing even worse than the fist CD?
well his first album was from RCA and major record company, this 2nd album is from an indie label, so it's not going to be promoted as much like the first one.
Plus it's not about the record sales man, it's about the music. Too bad Clive Davis is more of a business man than a music man.
See The Light is a good southern rock album. You won't hear Rihanna type of music here - you get to hear that on pop radio. Bo's album is pure organic music. Check his podcasts in bobicecast, his channel here. Listen to him and listen to him well talk about how he wants his music done - i.e. dirty and raunchy and in your face. So no electronic or computer enhancements to make you sound good. The latter is the type of music that sucks.
The reviews have been good and much better than the first cd RCA forced on him. Check Bo's website bobicedotcom for reviews by real music reviewers not just by biz people. This cd is great and much much better than the pop cd that he was asked to do. If you listen only to pop rock and don't like southern rock then there's no reason for you to say the cd sucks. Bo has carefully chosen the people he played with in this cd like award-winning Chris Tompkins, Steve Gorman from Black Crowes.
It is an indie album produced by Bo and he did not release it commercially either on pop stations. 50K is considered gold for indie albums. It has gone gold already.

Bo's new southern-rock flavored cd 'See The Light' available exclusively at Wal-mart and online on iTunes and everywhere. Bo wrote and co-wrote all songs as well as played guitar and mandolin on some tunes. It's one of the most genuine music I've bought lately. Get it now!
Bo's new album is on the money, no pun intended.
