Is that a tubular fid or a knitting needle? I have always wondered how do they keep the cord attached if don´t seem to have a clasp, cap, or something else so the cord doesn´t get out just as easily as it gets in.

I used this as a base to make my boy a baby sling since he's getting too heavy to hold for very long. Thanks. p.s. if you're not going to talk in the video replace the audio with some quiet music or just no audio.

I made it ~5"x8" and with 6 stringer instead of 4. The cord which goes around my shoulder is a separate cord which the orig intention was to have it go through the loops on the ends of the sling but I didn't like it. So I threaded them on the outer stringers and tied them with two fisherman's knots. but the loops can be used to clip it to a belt or diaper bag. My boy balances pretty good but i always keep an extra hand on him and just support his weight
