My father was an educated engineer, and he studied at Kabul university, which was a great university until the Soviets invaded. Afterwards, my family escaped to Iran. @peace1keeper in an earlier post I explained that I believe that Afghans act like douche bags in retaliation to the way us Persians treat them, but I just wanted to say that you shouldn't hate Afghans because of the crap you hear from them on Facebook or Youtube. I must admit I see a lot of Afghans that are assholes here, but I also see a lot of Persians that praise the Islamic Republic, and I've yet to meet a Persian that is a supporter of the Islamic Republic.
most Afghans are not educated and unfortunetly Iran is a country with over 75% younge people mostly educated looking for job. u can't get a good job if ur not eudcated specially in Iran, a country that cares a lot to education. U shouldn't expect to get a good job when u don't even have any degree...

Afghanistan is ruled by a bunch of fundamentalist muslims whom are backward and häve no education no wonder that they can not govern properly. The problem in our country is and always have been that the power is only in the hand of backwards and religious fanatics, the educated afghans have never had the oppertunity and were never given the oppertunity to come to political power.

the afghans that come to iran are usually poor low cultured afghans (no offence) the afghans that are rich mostly move from afghanistan to europe and other countries the ones that are poor the best they can do is to come to iran and pakistan so that's why the iranians and pakistanis have mostly bad image!

most afghans in Iran are uneducated who even cant read. Because of the nad situation in Afghanistan, they didnt go to schools. Thats why they have "bad" jobs. But they accept it because its better than in afghanistan and saver than in afghanistan. Iran has build roads and rails to afghanistan and Iranian companies are investing in afghanistan. A stable and safe afghanistan is good for Iran. We are proud that we have helped our afghan brothers many times.

Actually that is not entirely true. I am speaking from personal experience. My parents are Afghan, I was born in Mashad, Iran. My father was an educated engineer, and he studied at Kabul university, which was a great university until the Soviets invaded. Afterwards, my family escaped to Iran. We speak Farsi and we are Shitte Muslims, so Iran was our first choice. Once in Iran, nobody would give my father a job because he was Afghan. He was educated, spoke Farsi, and a Shiite Muslims. why???

If he was a legal immigrant and had Iranian citizenship then it would not be less difficult for him. MY uncle died in Iran, he was a LEGAL citizen. After he died, nobody would bury him because he is Afghan.
How could you refuse to bury a human being just because of their ethnicity.
It was so difficult for my family, they had to keep his body in the house, until they finally found a place to bury him.

He was eventually buried in Iran (Mashad), but at first no one would bury him b/c he was Afghan....its MORE difficult for Afghans, I didnt say its impossible.
I just wish Iranians didnt have such a negative attitude toward Afghans.
Even Iranians in America look down at Afghans in America,
Iranians and Afghans are EQUAL in America, we both ARE immigrants.
For a lot of Iranian-Americans, when they want to insult someones they tell them "Your mom is Afghan"

Why dont you read her book called "Refugee rights in Iran" she goes in detail about the hardships of Afghans in Iran, and she is Iranian.

I dont live in Iran, I live in California, I am an American citiizen, I dont need the help of Iran or Iranians.
But you are right, I will stop complaining, one day I will go back to Iran and help educate the Afghans myself by teaching them English.
Also, in America, Afghans are always defending Iran. Israel wants to destroy Iran, but Afghans always tell Americans good things about Iran, and we defend the Iran, despite the refugee problem.
