  • Not bad for a sound check...love the brass :)

  • I heard a funny thing....you know I could be in love with almost everyone......real...........

  • When I first heard this song, I didn't know who the group singing or what the name of the song was. I thought it was the Moody Blues.

  • Love should have been at least as well known as label mates The Doors. Forever Changes is to my mind a superior album to any of The Doors LP's. Come to think of it, there are very few albums that even come close for me. Right up there with David Sylvian's Secrets of the beehive. Perhaps if Arthur had looked like Jim Morrison they might have been bigger! I remember reading many years ago that Forever Changes was Richard Butler of The Psychedelic Furs, favourite LP of all time.

  • i listened to ufo version.didnt like it.if your on speed maybe why you like it.this version the sound check one is real good. guitar is excellent & singer is good .a good copycat of arthur lee. i liked it. the tribute band at beer place version was awful singer cant sing at all.just horrible.

  • Check out the version by UFO on the LIGHTS OUT disc... They do a fantastic job on this song...

  • @NOwhutIMthayin

That whole UFO album is a great one. And, yes, they did a terrific job with this beautiful song.

  • Yes, love the smile and jumping up and down after the first 'verse'. Makes me smile each time I watch it.

  • the strings are the most convincing

  • Its his jump of joy for singing this masterpiece that's so great. Would that we all had the chance with such a great band.

  • excellent , i loved it , what beautiful memories rekindled

  • Very well done. Great.

  • great cover guys =) I say best album

  • timeless song

  • No Arthur = No Love

  • Fantastic song though. This one has really stood up.

  • oh yeah truly. But without Arthur, it just feels wrong.

  • If you like this song, I recommend you hear Calexico`s version. It is off their cd, Convict Pool. I like The Damned version as well but Calexico is an awesome band.

  • simply amazing

  • FANTASTIC! I am completely impressed! (and I mean chills-all-over impressed!)

What a nice and well-executed tip-of-the-hat to Arthur Lee and LOVE. All you need to now is to move to a castle!

  • No one can hold a candle to you CAPTAIN!!! Long LIVE The DAMNED!!!!!

  • Balls to the Damned! Arthur Lee is legend whist the Damned play Neat, neat, neat to goths at Whibty on Halloween for 50 quid and a fish supper!

  • The singer is Mike Fornatale and he is amazing. I can't believe I never heard of him before this.

  • A very good rendition..give it credit..

  • was this at le beat bespoke?//

  • Excellent performance for a sound check. The singer moved me with his emotion and was right on. You can tell he's a fan of Arthur Lee's too.

  • absolutely brilliant! that man should front the arthur lee tribute band that has to happen!!!, we need to spread the love!!!

the most exciting music ever!! even hendrix cant match arthur lee and love!!

  • Is it robert fripp? Is it baby lemonade? Anyway, it's not arthut lee. Still a VERY good performance! I like it!

  • Its Baby Lemonade, from the Forever Changes concert in England

  • ...and it shows that a) Baby Lemonade are a good band in their own right and b) we were paying too much attention to Brian Wilson in the '60s...not that thàt was a bad thing.

  • Is that Robert Fripp on lead vocals, filling in for Arthur? I've never heard Fripp sing so well! Why isn't Fripp playing guitar? Where are Adrian and Tony and Bill? Where DID I get this LSD?

  • Thank you *so* much for this aircheck! What a wonderful bunch of benefits we've had for Arthur. Thank you for your incredible posts. I've done so much LSD since 1966 with Love at my side on retreats into wilderness areas that I've forgotten more than I learned. So, stop the self-loathing. We love you Thomas! They say that if someone remembers the '60s, they didn't experience it. Well, it's true! And thanks to you, I'm getting some of my memory back, especially through the tributes. Love, Joe

  • you naughty man joe!! send some to england

  • it´s not Love so of course Arthur Lee´s not there

  • Go and see the benefit shows for Arthur Lee in NYC & LA in June/2006. Robert Plant, Ian Hunter, David Johanson, & unannounced special guests. It is gonna be a BLAST!!! I wish Arthur well & hope to see him at the shows if he is up to it.

    Get Well, Dude!!!

  • where's arthur lee? this is crap.

  • I was at Walthamstow Tech to see Love in 1971, i think, i saw hundreds of bands and never knew what any of them looked like. If you remember....
