Recently, Metal Blade records saw us play and they don't seem to have the same opinion as you as we have been talking with their producer from Miami. You can check out the Reno dates about Metal Blade coming to town. Anyway, i'm glad you seem to think you know how our band plays and that it "needs work" but i'd much rather trust Metal Blades

I have the toneport GX, and it works great if you're just playing it through your speakers. but whenever i try to record with it (i have FL studio 8, & kristal freeware), IT SOUNDS LIKE CRAP. SOMEONE PLEASE POINT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON HOW TO USE THIS AMAZING DEVICE

sweet! Have you downloaded Pod Farm and tried it out yet?  Its supposed to me free to owners of the Toneport GX. I don't know if its basically the same with a different interface or if the sounds are actually different. I have a Pod Studio UX1 on the way and I'm STOKED! :)

cool! so are you still using GearBox or did you download Pod Farm? It you check the Line 6 site they've renamed the "TonePort GX" to "Pod Studio GX" and changed frrom GearBox to "Pod Farm"  you can use two amps at once with "Pod Farm" but other than that I don't know what the difference is. Someone said that Gearbox is basically a PodXT and Pod Farm is a Pod X3.. not sure if that's true or not.

there are a lot of different ways :-P umm you could just plug your speakers into the back of the line 6 or plug the line 6 and your computer into a mixer then the mixer into your speakers.

thanks, im using custom build sound system speakers. the sound you hear is the guitar direct into the computer. but i recomend any good sound system. like speakers you get with a good stereo

Good vid, have you ever tried using the toneport for vocals? guitar is ok for me, but if i try clean vocals setting with a mic the recorded volume (in audacity) is too low. Could it be the mic is the issue as its fairly basic, Cheers

Hi dude, I just bought line6 GX, and I'm a little sad because it's not working good. if I play while the balance is in left it sounds good, but when I place it in the middle sounds fucking bad, even in the R sounds worst!! I don't know waht to do, what do you think about it??

are you talking about the silver knob on front? thats the volume for the line out. to the left its at low volume (sounds good) to the middle. starts sounding crunchy (peaking a little) and to the right its at full volume. (peaking like crazy scratchy and not good) haha so... you just have to find a good speaker to plug it into..

but let me know if this was your question :)
