Meghan McCain on repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy

Oh.....so...if I walk in a room full of Republicans and yell, "Hey, guess what? I'm gay and in the military!", they'll all stand and thank me for my service? That's so nice them! A welcome well deserved for someone risking their life to serve. (btw, I'm not in the military)

I didn't hear the U.S. military complaining when the British military among others joined our forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, a military that has openly gay men and women fighting alongside our own. Where was the lack of cohesion and morale then?
