  • @sah2750 agreed

  • ms fuck the horse

  • MS sucks on every level.

  • Senna didn't need the best car, the man created win's out of nothing. A true legend.

  • Schumacher isn't a bad guy like the media makes him look, but he is no saint either.

  • I'm not a Schumi basher but he should never have laughed/smiled on this podium. Not with Ratzenberger's fatal accident, not with Barrichello's heavy crash both on the day before, not with Senna's crash happening in front of him and knowing already then that Senna was in a coma. It was a surrealistic, tragic weekend and he should have kept any joy he had for his victory strictly within himself.

  • @1963MAL I think that's a bit unfair, I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to be unconsidered in any way. I'm not Schumi's fan but I know he was Senna's big fan. And if I remember right, Schumi, among the others in the podium, dedicated that to the ones that had crashed.

  • I feel deeply saddened and at the same time proud of schumacher. talking about how someone dies right in front of your eyes and not even knowing about it is something very very hard to do. opening up about it must have really hurt. especialy talking about someone you looked up to. Im pround of you schumacher. R.I.P Ayrton Senna. R.I.P Ronald Ratsenberger

  • i cannot imagine to sit in such a vehicle, maybe for fun as a copilot (I know such vehicles with two seats exist). but it is an extreme sport and such things happen, that is part of it.

  • I would like to say that this guy is not a good driver. Very, very bad driver!!!

  • Aus welchem Bericht oder Doku ist dieser Ausschnitt ??

  • this race could never happen!!

  • I think it was a dumb from him to say that being in comma isn't a big deal... You don't go on comma for nothing, Schumacher!!! Anyway... maybe he was too young.

  • Michael was already in a surreal season, winnin every race that senna was supposed to win, maybe back then he could hold back a little more his emotions, but years later when he equals senna's # of wins he really breaks down. It's their coping mechanism, without it, they would never set foot inside a cockpit again after taking park in a race where another pilot died.

    rip

  • I don't really know much about Senna as I was not even born at that time but I think he must have been the greatest F1 driver of all time

My fav is Michael Schumacher though.

  • I've only heard of Senna today. And after watching all the videos and reading wiki about him, I didn't think his victories per se made him a great driver. It was his humanity and the fact that he takes other drivers' welfare into great consideration. I saw him stopping his car to help out drivers who crashed, and the fact that he wanted to created a driver safety committee just before his last race. It's not just his skills that made him greater than others.

  • @schizer I was still young and already a fan, didn't know how much until that sunday, i had never seen brazil as an entire country so struck by such sadness, still to this day, no other death shook the country like this one did, cause it was during a time where politically (etc) the country was very insure, that time when he would wave that brazilian flag would be the only time we'd feel proud. sports can do that, we at the time had a bad football team, F1 became the pride of the country.

  • @schizer I Agree

  • he was fan from senna.

  • I agree with both of you. Now F1 is Different than NASCAR but look at what happend when Dale Sr. died. Multiple drivers including Jimmy Spencer who is considered a hard ass cried. It is a brother hood. They are all doing the same thing and competing together. Senna's death was very tragic especially to Schumi because he idolized him.

  • @UberLifeTroll 0/10 bro

  • alemao porco !

  • He sounds so thick in this interview

  • Schumacher wouldnt have been as happy as he was when he won if he had known senna passed

  • Worst driver ever!!!

  • @TheMarkonii troll elsewhere. We're all adults here i believe.

  • @TheMarkonii small penis trauma???

  • then i saw that day schumacher broke senna's reccord he broke down infront of the interviewer. to me that shows alot of respect and lets be reasonable, schumacher has taken alot of shit and yeah he did stupid things but he also had respect for other people. senna was his idol, he looked up to senna and im glad he did

  • we cant say schumacher is one great driver because of the numbers, he had all the suport to get the numbers: a good car, team mate to back up him, team job, Jean Todt and the FIA helping "maFIA". It was a scenery made principally by Jean Todt and Briatore two cheaters /watch?v=CJf6ZkSMWHY , /watch?v=Ad6l2yHTS0Y they use to call him Michael Cheatmacher

  • Mr. Schumacher is average driver for carting race, maybe. Not even close to Senna or Prost.

  • @TheMarkonii then how did he equal Senna's records? I have a lot of respect for Senna, but Schumacher is one of the greats in F1, & if you think he isn't, you're insane. & as you can see Schumacher has a lot of respect for Senna.

  • @mullenrocks23 took him TWELVE years to break Senna's most poles record. Schu also never had a world champion in his team to compete/beat like Senna did. Schu great yes but Senna is King and still holds the record for the most Monaco wins. Schu would not have won WDCs if Senna had been in town. No way .

  • @mullenrocks23 if senna had equal chances like schumi then senna would undoubtbly have better statistics. how can you compare two drivers when they had their careers in different times aswell as varying lengths of careers. schumi is now racing again in 2011 while aryton died in 94. If your going to look at numbers please look for an average. Im not in any way saying schumi sucks, he's a great driver. One of the greatest? i hesitate to make that claim.

  • @TheMarkonii 7 time world champion with 91 wins out of 280 or so, average driver? fuck off idiot.

  • @VColossalV you got trolled sir. Fascinating tale chap.

  • @VColossalV average, you fucking fanboy fag!

  • @thylegion Statistically the greatest driver to ever live, don't have to be a fanboy to recognise this.

  • @VColossalV Statistics - true reason of recognizing the greatness in drivers. Pfffffff, lame ass.

  • @thylegion Thats why they are there, yes.

  • No matter how many times I've seen this, I'm still somewhat surprised by how he almost breaks into tears in this video. Which disproves the whole inhuman tag he got back in the day.

  • Liarmacher !!

  • He should take some english classes. Money is not the problem.

  • @TheMarkonii fuck off

  • @TheMarkonii it was 1994 .... he was new into international business, so stfu please. thanks.

  • @5t3v3n Tell you mother to stfu. His english is unacceptable. Period. You know the meaning of period?

  • @TheMarkonii so is your behaviour. period? you are out of arguments, eh?

  • @TheMarkonii It is terrible English for full stop.

  • @TheMarkonii 臭傻逼!

  • @TheMarkonii well if you asked me, whether to be good in english or a racing driver, everyone knows which one ill pick. You're just a sad delusional bitter old man who's trying to find fault only to make him feel better about life. Man, sucks to be you

  • @TheMarkonii He's German, why should he take English classes. You need to take them as you think "period" is true English!

  • 0:02 DRS?

  • if Schumi is a decent guy,than I'm gay,and belive me...I love women!!!!

  • @adymircea Schumi is a awesome dude to hangout with, most of the drivers are. You just hate him, don't worry!

  • @adymircea Your Mother maybe!

  • poor roland.his fatal accident was one of the most shocking images in the f1. and well senna was terrible too.

  • it's a real shame they just talk about the Senna's death, no one even mentions that the other driver, Roland Ratzenberger, crashed at the qualifyings the day before, and died from the impact.

    RIP Ratzenberger, RIP Senna

  • @crodark91 I totally agree with you!

  • @crodark91 senna did not forget him , he died with the austrian flag in his cockpit

  • @crodark91 Senna would have talked about Ratzenberger's death. They found inside Senna's suit the Austrian flag which he would have raised if he won the race, as a dedication to Ratzenberger.

  • @crodark91 It's true but I think we agree that the fact that Senna was a much more accomplished driver that is why he was remembered and talked more, not to diminish Ratzenberger's life.

  • @crodark91 you are absolutly right

  • @crodark91 But it's complicated to conclude that based only in this video. Without the context of the video you can't say something like that. He may have mentioned it in another part of the video, or this was a special about Senna's anniversary, etc. Without the context it's unfair to say "shame on them" for not mentioning Ratzenberger or even Barrichello, that also crashed.

  • @crodark91 Yes it's a shame that Ratzenberger doesn't get spoken about as much. Simple fact of life. Ayrton Senna was incredibly famous as an F1 driver. He will always be spoken about more. They're not going to make a movie about Roland. However, I echo your sentiment. RIP Roland and Ayrton.

  • @crodark91 That's very true!

  • @racemise this is my last post about that. Michael Schumacher won twice 1994 / 1995. Ok thats normal, the cars was similar and he was the best. But 2000 / 2001 / 2002 / 2003 / 2004 Ferrari made Schumacher champion 5 times, They had the best car, best equip, best team, engineers, etc, etc, etc. In 2003 he had 2 point to second driver and thats normal and fun. But 2000 to 2003 and 2004 something wrong happened with others teams, cause he won with much more points than second driver.

  • @andrefdsouza They only had the best equipment due to Schumachers input. They were average before he came along.

  • Schumacher admired Senna a lot. The media present him as a heartless cruel person, while actually he is not. It is obvious in several occasions that the accident of Senna marked him as a racing driver and as a person.

  • repair on the podium, he wanted to burst out laughing, and thinking, "Now the way is open for me!"

  • @jeffreyhuter2002 Your an absolute moron, i can't believe you publicly said that, do the world a favour and get off

  • Schumacher was one of the greatest ever, probably will never be equaled in terms of his dominance at ferrari and his seven championships. He pulled some sketchy moves but he was greatness personified and always measured himself against Aryton Senna, the greatest ever

  • @THX10538 I'm not disagreeing but sketchy moves are what a great racing driver is all about. Senna was one of the sketchiest of them all. Look at when he took out Prost.

  • How was Schumi supposed to react that day? I don't think anyone wanted to believe that Senna could die that way. The man did things no one has done on a racing course before or since. I was in disbelief when it happened to Senna, and the same when Dale Earnhardt died in a crash.

  • Shumacher is a Shit !

  • @andrefdsouza Schumi is a MAN, a great driver... But, I'm not concerned about you... So, STFU

  • @racemise @F1RacingGame lol at both, keep playing F1 on Playstation, maybe Schumacher can win again.. Actually running on his car, he can only 4th or less... sorry for disappointing you guys :)

  • @andrefdsouza Actually I don't understand, what was your comment about... It's not disappointing, and is irrelevant... Schumacher won SEVEN world titles, and SHIT (like you might be) can never do that... He is worse now than he was in the prime of his life, but that won't take his 7 world championship, which he won as THE BEST OF THAT ERA. Sorry for disappointing you, but you are a pointless guy commenting just to make people angry... Anyway you didn't make me angry, I'm just feeling sorry for U

  • @racemise no problem. You have your opinion about Schumacher, and I have my opinion, just that, if you agree or not agree is not my problem, you are free for that :) I know that, he won 7 world champ. but you will never understand what i want to say...

  • @andrefdsouza Oh, I understand very well, what you want to say: you might refer to the fact that Shumi lost some speed since the prime of his life... If that is what you want to say in your such poor and bad manner, you're right, any other way you say complete bullshit... But, as many Schumi-haters, you just have to improve your manner, and should not say "sh*t", to other people, who are actually talented, and smart, and good characters. Anyway, it's no longer my problem, I've done all I can do.

  • @racemise sure :) and I am so sorry for saying bullshit... really sorry. I just wanted to say, Schumacher won some champ because ferrari had used some "ways" not really licit. if Rubens Barrichello were the second one, then something "wrong" happened. Ferrari cars was extremely better than other and that did Schum champion. of course, Schumacher has not fault if the others cars were worst.

  • @andrefdsouza You are shit!

  • you don't understand

  • yeah my friend shumi everybody knows you are a good race driver, not one of the greats, i think montoya and alonso are better but you have to recognize tha your job became very easy whit SENNA out.

  • @krayziegus You don't win 7 championships by accident. The guy has 91 race wins, 68 poles, 76 fastes laps. Surely one of the greats.

  • @krayziegus You are arguing with yourself, mate! You say: Montoya and Alonso are better than Schumi... Then, how could have been Schumi's job easy? If Montoya would be as great as you claim him to be, he would be racing in F1 these very days... But, he left to race in some of American series (NASCAR, I guess...). He just didn't fitted in the world of F1. He might be a great driver, but not great F1 driver. AND Schumi is one of the greatests...

  • @racemise Yeah my friend, but you was a little baby and lost the great f1 era (80's and early 90's) many champions racing with big cars turbo v10 v12 and manual gear, after this and nowdays the cars are taking over the drivers... /watch?v=oLfPZts08WQ montoya always with a inferior car kicking shumi ass.... and more /watch?v=giZu7-A2yS0&feature=related Shumi is a good one but i think montoya had more balls, his problem was the car not dependable always breaking

  • @krayziegus Why do people keep mentioning Montoya? Mansell, Prost, Hill, Fangio, Hakkinen....Montoya my arse!

  • @FrowningIke Villeuneve, Lauda, Hunt.....I could go on!

  • @FrowningIke montoya was the biggest crybaby!

its all Ferraris fault he kept complaining!

  • reson y i like schumacher is he is in the same head space mind as senna to be honest sennas death changed motorsport in a good way i just hope that french FIA PERSON THAT HAD A DIG AT SENNA ON HIS DRIVING AND HIS SAFETY AND THAT SENNA ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT SAFTEY AND KOZ IT WAS GOING TO COST THEM LOTS OF MONE> IN THE ERA NO WAY THEY WAS SPENDING IN THAT WE LOST A GREAT MAN AND A LEGEND AND NOW KOZ F IT WE HAVE PEOPLE LIKE MICHEAL AND THE SAFETY IN MOTORSPORT ALL OVER R.I.P SENNA LEGEND

  • /watch?v=ws3jS9dPuQU WATCH THAT FOR A FULL VIDEO OF THIS CRASH AND MANY MORE OF THE BIGGEST CRASHES IN HISTORY!!!!! RATE AND COMMENT AND I'LL SUB YOU! #FTW

  • Schumacher was too intelligent to show true emotion. The Senna thing was a way to catch up with his lack of human reaction during the Imola weekend. I dont believe a tear from him. As for being 22 and acting like a sensible person? I look at Vetter every other weekend and that's exactly what I see.

  • @jerste No , you are wrong . Schumacher had and has a deep respect for Senna. It really isn't on for people like you to undermine his integrity and say that he isn't genuine. I agree with the posts above . Senna's death must have been dreadful for a him.r. He was behind and saw him go off. Schumacher deserves some empathy and respect not vittriol and loathing.

  • @thehitchrules Couldn't agree more. Too many people hide behind the anonymity of the internet and make bollocks statements. Schumacher would most certainly have been affected by the death of Senna. Any F1 driver would be - they may compete with each other and occasionaly sail close to the wind but none of them want sto see another die. RIP Senna.

  • @SneakyStuntman Exactly. Even Prost, one of Senna's greatest rivals was deeply impacted by his death, and they had a terrible relationship on and off the track but now he is the treasurer of the Ayrton Senna charity.

  • @SneakyStuntman

mhmm. Schumy did a lot for the safety of F1 drivers in the post -Immola 1994 era. that proves how he was affected by this race.

  • @thehitchrules

People like you know nothing about integrity and don't even understand the word "empathy".

  • @jerste Get off your high-horse you jumped up little arsehole. You know jack-shit. Grow up.

  • @thehitchrules

    Go educate yourself tiny cyberbug.

  • @jerste Really? Every other weekend a formula one driver diesand Vettel goes to the podium and acts somber enough to satisfy you?

  • @mrjdgibbs

I barely understand what you say. Apart from the fact that people give MS humain qualities he never had simply to enhance the picture.

  • what about ratzenberger? shouldn't he show some respect? smiling like that on the podium.. and all the years later he showed everyone by he's driving he's a prick.. fuck schumacher I hate him. maybe he didn't knew how senna was but he definitly dosen't look too conserned

  • @ketchups As he said, Schumacher didn't look too concerned because he wasn't letting himself believe it was that serious. If you've convinced yourself that "He's gonna be fine," why would you show that much concern?

And as for showing respect for Ratzenberger, it's hard to say how someone is going to react. Here is a moment, winning at the pinnacle of your sport, that should be joyous. Can't he have one second of pleasure? Indy's seen many deaths, but the winners were never somber.

  • I thought that he was instantly killed?

  • @Sammyy46 He was instantly killed. But he was choppered off to a nearby hospital and the death was not announced until much later. It was all very strange and very sad.

  • THIS DOKU IS TAKEN FROM MICHAEL SCHMACHER - ABGESCHMINKT DVD (GERMAN DVD) ! THUMBS UP SO EVERYONE CAN SEE :)

  • As much as there are some Schu haters out there, he is the only guy in recent history to change teams and turn the Ferrari team from a piece of garbage to a consistently WC team. Even now in the Merc he's turning their fortunes upwards, even if his personal points aint great so far this year (to turkey 2011). I'd say he's the Rossi of Formula One in terms of mechanical brains. -Daz in Oz

  • Aus welcher Doku ist dieser Ausschnitt?

    From wich documentary is that?

  • O problema não foi o Schumacher não ser um campeão. O problema foi ele ser campeão sem ter o Senna pra competir.

  • Yeah Michael... Coma is not bad... riiight.

  • @kingcrumpet a coma can be induced by doctors to protect the brain from trauma or to lessen the pain after serious injuries. Michael probably thought it was medically induced or that it was a minor coma, which is also very common

  • @yomama629, Yeah but for the coma to be induced, something pretty horrible must have happened beforehand, i.e. bad. And i've never heard of a minor coma, didn't know a coma came in different levels.

  • @kingcrumpet some comas last 7 to 24 hours, and the patient wakes up just fine. Others last years and nothing happens, and the last category ends in death

  • @yomama629 happened to me after motorcycle accident, I was under for 1 week.

  • @FTMJarra thank you for proving my point and I hope you are doing allright now and that no one lost their lives in that accident

  • @yomama629 doing fine, thanks for asking, was 7 years ago, nobody else involved, just me and a post.!!..lol.

  • He is the king. But the King has an idol. And his idol is Ayrton. Period.

  • Idiots think Schumi is cheating. He's not .All of idiots are just jealous of him.He is not to blame at cheating in 1994.It was a team decision.Michael had to do it because he has a contract.Just 5 words.Schumacher is not a cheater

  • i am a huge senna fan but you schumacher fans can fix the ridicule he has copped by posting these thing up as titled senna tribute the best is you tube search the true schumy that should be named senna tribute no one can see it nor find it that was a great tribute that people cant find nor see

  • Sorry, but let me tell you that "Shumi" never beat Senna´s record because he did it in many more laps than Senna, so no body has beaten his record

    Senna Races:161

    Senna Pole: 65

    Shumi Races: 259

    Shumi Pole: 68

    So There you go!

  • @pototokayman Yes but its the race that counts more than qualifying, even that is also quite significant. And Schumacher won more races than Ayrton, yet I think Ayrton was more naturally talented

  • I never saw Shumi that emotional like at 2:29

  • Shummy cry was no fake. If you have cried just once in your life you can see he was real

  • For the record Schumacher has given huge amounts to charity and just like Ayrton never publicises this He has so much respect for Senna. Don't know why people feel the need to be vitriolic toward Schumacher and have so much hatred for him . and all this in Senna's name. Childish.

  • 2:06 to 2:14, I almost cried.

  • there have always been so many people out there waiting to drive negatives out of every positive of Schumacher.....I know the reason of such acts...their man simply could never beat him!

  • its a shame we didnt get to see more senna and schumacher battles as they both had a big desire to win

  • Danger and death were never unexpected in the formula 1. Actually it was just a matter of time, before something like that had to happen. The people even liked crashes. And it will happen again untill this stupid sport is finally exposed as the big overrated business that it is and put to an end.

  • @Duphe Danger yes...death? Not so much. That was a horrible weekend in F1 history, after years of improvements meant that, before Imola 1994, no-one had died in an F1 car since Elio De Angelis some 10 or so years earlier. And in the 17 years since Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton died at Imola, the number of F1 fatalities? Zero.

  • @Duphe Safety first!

  • You gotta love the media how Schumacher is portrayed as a total ass-hole and in reality he's actually a decent guy.

  • @monkeyboy85 It's probably because they only see what goes on on the track and not off it.

  • Even though the great one died

he died doing what he loved to do

wouldnt you want that for anyone

  • Nope, Schumi was not faking, not a bit. He, being the professional that he is, knows that something like this can happen anytime on the track. As a driver you trust that your machine is fully functional in every way, and if not, then the chief mechanic has told you what to be aware of. Such as the case with Michael....and Aryton. Pretty much same thing happened to Jim Clark in the 60's; he died at Hockenheim testing his Lotus. A front suspension failure is suspect here. God speed.

  • the 2 best driver ever

    and beautiful persons

    i miss the battles

  • sennas death... "was something crazy...".the subtitel says UNVORSTELLBAR. that nails it. you can hear it in shoeys voice.

  • Two everyone saying that schumacher should have shawn more respect to ratzenberger on the podium let me ask a question. Is it that hard to believe that a 22 year old kid might have not known the exact appropriate way to act in that situation. Certainly his peers, men like Mika, never begrudged him for it. Judging from the way he cried like a baby when he equaled Senna's win count this obviously had a profound impact on his life. Sometimes when tragedy strikes there's just no one to hate.

  • @mrjdgibbs Well said.

  • @mrjdgibbs Very well said .

  • @thehitchrules Thanks. I will never understand the need to vilify schumacher for this. Just as I will never understand the fervor with which certain Senna fans attack Schu. Any true fan of the sport would appreciate both men. Both were brilliant but flawed and both may lay claim to the title of greatest of all.

  • I can't help myself but cry!!! after all those years Iìm still missing him!!!! Schumy ... u r wonderful!!! luv u

  • The battles Schumi and Senna would have had.........

  • @jc790 Yeah, that makes it all the more tragic.... chuck in Gilles for good measure, imagine that....

  • Make no mistake, I consider Senna to be the greatest, despite Schumacher's 7 wins, but even before watching this, I had no idea that Schumacher deserved a ton of respect and is definitely up there with Senna. After watching this, I know I was right to respect him and I have to say that I respect him even more now.

I hope he makes a comeback with MB

  • It was no celebration... it's a ceremony that happens at the end of every race and always has. The show must go on. And as they did not cancel the race, there was a podium where Schumacher, Hakkinen and Larini stood very soberly and Schumacher just raises his fist to acknowledge the applause at the end of the anthem. It wasn't until 2 hours later that Senna was declared dead which came as a shock to everybody.

  • piece of shit.when pascual told you that senna was in a coma, just before u went on the podium.means that u dont celebrate it.u piiece of shit.im certain that if it was the other way around senna would show u respect and he would walk out without celebrating u dickhead.and the way u raze your fist knowing senna is in a coma ...bloody disgraceful

  • @COCACOLAwithpizza I remember watching this GP and assuming he would be back, you just couldn't imagine Senna being dead, for me Senna WAS F1, because of my age I didn't know any different. When they said he died in the helicopter it blew my mind. To suggest that any racing driver could watch Ayrton Senna die in front of them and not give a shit is extremely silly.

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare also in the old races there would often be multiple deaths in a single race and it would always go on. Thats the nature of motorsport in my opinion.

  • @RelaxItsJustAFlare you very naive.shummaker admite to know just before the celebration at the podium, pascual 1 of his team members aproaching him and tell him about senna being in a come.shummaker stil went out there and celebrated the way he did.im shore any decent f1 driver oir even any other sport repesentative would never do something like that.so fuck u.

  • @COCACOLAwithpizza forgot this was youtube, sorry for living.

  • @COCACOLAwithpizza No professional race car driver ever celebrated a fellow driver's death. Schumacher did not know Senna was dead. He would have commented at the time, otherwise. What are the sources claiming that the German did not care abt Senna dying?

  • @sternumagnum he says it....before we went up the podium, pasqual cames to me and tells me senna hes in a come....a come its between life and death.senna wouldnt celebrate full stop

  • Michael you are very strong pilot, but did not remember making that you will never say goodbye to the Ayrton Senna 7 times world champion and you do not know ... good God and others that helped him to be the world ...

  • We should remain with the truth! First of all: Senna has no austrian flag for roland in his car at this day! Second: Excuses and Schumacher - Why? He has drove his race!

and the williams car has an error in the steering column. Third: They has Respect booth for eachother but they were never friends - and this is ok. In a competition - its absolutely normal. The most of the people in this forum was never in competition situation - i think. The death of ayrton senna was announced 2 hours later

  • Schumi talks as though Roland never existed...

  • I am not, nor have never been a fan of Schumacher, but it can't be easy for any driver to have won in that situation. Before Imola, Senna was held in very high regard. Since that day, his status is now legendary; almost 'God-like', maybe it's possible that the accident aided that regard?

Had Ratzenberger achieved similar, or even merely completed a respectable season in F1, I'm sure he too would have received admirable acclaim.

Either way, any and every driver lost in the sport is a tragedy.

  • I hope all the pathetic naysayers of Schumacher watch this. I have seen clips on YouTube specifically jeering at his conduct on the podium at Imola 1994; the comments act as a stage for these idiots to spew vitriol at Schumacher. Grow up.

For those who say F1 isn't as good since Senna died; you are not true motorsport fans. He would have wanted the show to go on and it has been every bit as exciting since. Races during Senna's era were dull processions, too. Merit each year on its own.

  • "He's going to be the champion... he's going to miss one or two races and he's coming back again."

It was SO clear that Senna was a superior kind of driver... F1 was just magic. Now it's just exciting races.

And during Ferrari's dominance it was just boring. Boring a lot.

  • @Taikamya +1. Schumi was honest about Senna's superior talent. And I give him credit for it. I have to say that after 1994, watching F1 was just okay as I have not been super excited about the events since then.
