Hmmmm..... I think it's nearly impossible to have an objective opinion on a game. Everything in a game is a matter of personal taste, even reviewers don't have objective reviews. If they did, then the past two CoDs would have gotten a 5 out of 10.
I think the reason pepole love SSBB is because it's a mix of Platforming and Fighting, all with Nintendo characters. of course pepole love it: it's like a Nintendo-fanboys wet dream.
i fond it okay that he don't like it, especially since he hates 60-85% of all games he get.... and he get MANY games!
I may not agree with everything that Mr. Croshaw says. I may find something enjoyable while he sees it as a flaw. I may be EXTREMELY jealous that he gets paid to do this kind of thing(lucky bastard). His Brawl review barely even attacked the game, it attacked Nintendo's constant reuse of gaming franchises and fighting games as button mashers. It was really not aimed at the game at all. His strongest point against the game was that he and his friends said "Meh." at it.
He did tell fanboys to troll his inbox though, that's probably what required the Showdown.
But seriously, these reviews are mostly satire and making fun of ventures. If you want a solid review for mindless consumers who use grading systems and crap go to IGN...

Generally, the PC is the puppet master of the "console war" because it has 90% of the stuff the 2 best consoles have ( the ones that aren't the Wii) and a butt load of exclusive titles. Just get the console you like, then get a PC for everything that isn't on it.

The only thing the PC get's exclusive to it are mainly indie games and they're swiftly becoming more available to consoles. No matter how superior the PC is to consoles, in terms of experience and graphics, the PC is pushed around completely by the console market due to the fact that the mass majority of people own a console as their system of choice.

@NavinToast the most enjoyable thing about the PC is that you can jury rig it to do almost anything, barring hardware, and when the mythical level hardware eventually shows itself you can fold that in too. Basically its a gaming platform that never goes out of style and waits for you to deposit money in it....

I don't know why but I enjoy him picking apart games I love (like Transformers, Halo and F.E.A.R 2). In most cases he has a point, and if you disagree you can just move onto something else. I never understand fans that demand an objective review... The whole point of a review is subjective. It's what makes them fun. I lolled at some of the typos in the letter. Poor Yatzee must have sorted through some shockers.
Brawl just sucked. I'm not sure how he would handle melee as i believe melee to be the best fighting game of all time (yes better than SF or MK and if you don't believe me look up tourney matches. Fucking unbelievable how fast the game is). The problem with brawl was that it was slow, boring, luck based, and basically encouraged camping and spamming projectiles... Oh, and if you want to win 100% of time choose metaknight and have your friend be anyone else.
@BonJoviFanboy he would obviously say the same thing about melee, tho ur obvious fanboyism towards melee is shown here, the things he said about brawl can pretty much be said about melee aswell. Infact it can already be answered with him saying that he just simply doesnt enjoy fighters, tho he enjoyed the simple concept of mario beating the ever loving crap out of the peach while the crowd screams for u to do more, he just cant get into it.
You know. SSBB is an alright game, but Melee was better I do have to say. The story concept was cool in Brawl, but on almost all of Yahtzee's reviews I have found that he is pretty much dead on with all the games. Most of the time he will bash a game and still say it's a good game and that's saying something. Also remember guys/gals you play the game you have your own opinion.
The fanboys sure invest a lot of time and effort into demonstrating what immature whiny pricks they are. I have watched Yahtzee's rants about games I really like, such as Symphony of the Night, and I totally enjoyed them. Even if the game is awesome, Yahtzee has a talent for finding the few annoying things about it and plucking them apart in hilarious ways. And even though those things don't affect the overall game much, he is mostly right in his criticism.
Yahtzee has bashed plenty of games Ive liked but he does it in a humorous manner that makes it worth the 3-4 minutes it takes to listen to him because its hilarious.
When I first was introduced to Yahtzee's reviews, I've been subscribed to this channel and checked on his videos every week on the EM website. While I may not agree with all of his reviews, I hardly go all butthurt from it and start sending hatemail(You should learn a thing call PERSONAL OPINION you haters).
In the end, Yahtzee is still a god damn great reviewer with a creative and funny way to show his reviews.
I love these videos. Frankly, I don't understand why people hate on you for displaying the errors in these particular games; 99.9% of the time, your dead on. Even with the games I love.

Generally, the PC is the puppet master of the "console war" because it has 90% of the stuff the 2 best consoles have ( the ones that aren't the Wii) and a butt load of exclusive titles. Just get the console you like, then get a PC for everything that isn't on it.

@MisterPeople25 I completely disagree with this, no matter how much I love the PC. The only thing the PC get's exclusive to it are mainly indie games and they're swiftly becoming more available to consoles. No matter how superior the PC is to consoles, in terms of experience and graphics, the PC is pushed around completely by the console market due to the fact that the mass majority of people own a console as their system of choice.

@NavinToast the most enjoyable thing about the PC is that you can jury rig it to do almost anything, barring hardware, and when the mythical level hardware eventually shows itself you can fold that in too. Basically its a gaming platform that never goes out of style and waits for you to deposit money in it....

I don't know why but I enjoy him picking apart games I love (like Transformers, Halo and F.E.A.R 2). In most cases he has a point, and if you disagree you can just move onto something else. I never understand fans that demand an objective review... The whole point of a review is subjective. It's what makes them fun. I lolled at some of the typos in the letter. Poor Yatzee must have sorted through some shockers.

Brawl just sucked. I'm not sure how he would handle melee as i believe melee to be the best fighting game of all time (yes better than SF or MK and if you don't believe me look up tourney matches. Fucking unbelievable how fast the game is). The problem with brawl was that it was slow, boring, luck based, and basically encouraged camping and spamming projectiles... Oh, and if you want to win 100% of time choose metaknight and have your friend be anyone else.

You know. SSBB is an alright game, but Melee was better I do have to say. The story concept was cool in Brawl, but on almost all of Yahtzee's reviews I have found that he is pretty much dead on with all the games. Most of the time he will bash a game and still say it's a good game and that's saying something. Also remember guys/gals you play the game you have your own opinion.

The fanboys sure invest a lot of time and effort into demonstrating what immature whiny pricks they are. I have watched Yahtzee's rants about games I really like, such as Symphony of the Night, and I totally enjoyed them. Even if the game is awesome, Yahtzee has a talent for finding the few annoying things about it and plucking them apart in hilarious ways. And even though those things don't affect the overall game much, he is mostly right in his criticism.

When I first was introduced to Yahtzee's reviews, I've been subscribed to this channel and checked on his videos every week on the EM website. While I may not agree with all of his reviews, I hardly go all butthurt from it and start sending hatemail(You should learn a thing call PERSONAL OPINION you haters).
In the end, Yahtzee is still a god damn great reviewer with a creative and funny way to show his reviews.
