I got a Black Bamix and it is a beauty, I love it, I haven't used it to it's full potential yet as not had it long and just learning with it at the moment, but I did try the skimmed milk thing and it amazes me how it turns milk into cream, I was well impressed, I intend to use it often and get really experimental with it. xx

Thank you, Kenneth! Your explanation makes sense and the fact that you respond to comments indicates to me that Bamix is an excellent company with representatives who care. I take good kitchen equipment VERY seriously; my regular blender is a Vita-Mix and I want my wand to be the best, too (it's cheaper in the long run to buy quality). BTW, your "lady" and I are the same age--both born in 1954. :)

Sorry we can't help you from here in Denmark. Bamix for US is special for US, mainly caused by the powerspecifications. Don't mind the watt power, every Bamix is extremely and surprisingly. Regarding accessories just pick them up anywhere, they are compatible world wide. All the best rgds Kenneth from Bamix in Denmark

Beautiful machine (I fully intend to have one) but it bothers me somewhat that the models exported for US customers seem to be less powerful than those for the European market. Also, the SliceSy sold here has only three attachments rather than five and I'm not sure that the processor that comes with the Swiss Line here includes the powder disk either (I'm guessing not). I have Swiss colleagues and suppose I could ask them to pick up Swiss versions of accessories but that's not very convenient.
