Hi, I just bought the flycam 3000 for my Nikon D7000, they gave me 8 washer plates (weights) 4 on the left, 4 on the right. Is that enough to balance my DSLR? Thanks. Can you email me? paulflatfoot@yahoo.com cheers.

@tommo427 Hiya, great video :) I'm thinking of getting the flycam 300; did you shoot this with just the flycam or did you use the body pod/arm thing or vest etc?

It seems these stabilizers work the best with wide angle lenses. Have you tried the flycam 3000 with a fixed 50mm?
Your video is fantastic, by the way. I love the lighting effects.

Tom, have you seen Devin Supertramp, his videos, here on youtube? If not, you've got to see what he does with a DSLR and a Glidecam 4000.

First proper stabilaze video I see with the flycam 3000, is it worth it? I heard is way too heavy? and impossible to balance, is that correct?

I'm guessing the cameraman was using inline skates while filming.

I had the focus on infinity, so i didnt have to play around with it at all.
i think the edit may have contributed to the softness
tommo427 1 year ago
How did you play with the focus during this without defeating the purpose of the Flycam? or is the visual style mildly compensating for soft focus?
