I do not know if this is close to a real castrato virtuoso or not, but it definetly sounds incredible to me.

I haven;t slept in 2 and a half days, I'm dead tired, yet new I found those videos with this guy's voice and I can;t go to sleep anymore, must listen...

I think I'll take the leptop with me in bed and keep playing videos with this voice till I fall asleep, it's addictive.

I know that it was published by a french label called K617 in 1990. Difficult to find it. A new version will be recorded on Naxos (probably in 2009 or 2010) with opther works composed by Thomas Bloch (including Missa Cantate - there is an excerpt of 1 or the 10 parts of this work and a video clip on youtube).
