This was a great song to end side 2 of Rock n Roll over. It may not be a single, but it complements all the songs on the album, and all the songs compliment this song. It was the perfect package of music. I to this day dont understand why they couldnt see this. Paul & Gene were the main singers, but it was nice to throw in a Peter song or an ACE song.. IT was a perfect recipe. I remember this being one of my favorites on this album............
@01po01po I agree. But Love Gun being a kickass album ends with Then She Kissed Me and I just couldn't finish the whole album.I'd end it with Plaster Caster and stop it then bitch to myself, Why did they throw this stupid song on here?
@Godthunder15 Yea, I remember being 10 or 11 yrs old when my parents bought me that album and the music was always what I liked first, then the make up and stage show was what made them even cooler to me, so when I heard that song at the end of "Love Gun" I was like , what? this isnt KISS. Why did they record that? It doesnt fit the album or any album they have done. Here is this hard rockin album, and the last song is just way off. record co. idea for sure. dumb asses.....
Sonic Boom was and is great but boy those old tunes like 'Baby Driver" recall time when KISS was killing everyone in the music industry. The unadultrated KISS guitar, bass and pete's awesome yet 'simple' drum style. A very tasty song from an era many of us were deep into before the world had still to fully catch on to KISS.

Yea this song fit the album perfectly. Back then nobody had heard this sound before. This song completes an awesome album. It sounds just as good now as anything out there today.
Kiss are gods - put them in R&R HOF. 1st album I ever bought was Destroyer when I was 5. I remember shuffling thru the vinyl LPs & coming across that magnificent cover. I bought every album thru Asylum after that & became a musician because of Kiss. They've influenced EVERY rock musician from the early 70s on, period. Take a look at their catalog, it is massive. They had an ability unlike any other band to transform themselves. I'm speaking as a university-trained jazz drummer. Kiss are legends.
@hourglass44 it's good to know someone of your status appreciates these guys. i'm sick of people implying KISS were little more than amateurs hiding behind makeup and fireworks.
Better album-RARO or Love Gun ?
