Yeah I actually dropped out of school at 16. It took me a few years to get the motivation to push further with education and eventually I got my GED and I've been in college for almost a year now. I'm also enlisting in the US Army. I'm raising a 2 year old daughter, married and have NO help with school from anyone. I'm doing it all alone. If I can do it ANYONE can do it! I felt the same way with school. I hated being there because I didn't belong.

If he has a problem connecting its because he is voluntarily distancing himself from the norm by acting in a way that no one else can relate to either. He needs to face the fact that "normal" people don't act like that and the world doesn't revolve around him. When he accepts that and he will find his own way to "fit-in". The kid clearly needs a father figure around him, and I hope Abe keeps being the mentor that he needs. I hope Antonio can get over his fears. My friend who is 44 years old, has this same anxiety. Its call agora phobia. Its a condition where you don't like being around crowds for people. He got this way when he was almost robbed one night, so Im guesing this kid had a bad experience too. My friend is fine now because he is comfortable with people, as long as I am there with him.
