Taking a dead body home to prove to your children they have a brother is a bit unnerving and unnecessary. I remember during the summer many years back when there was a power outtage, my aunt died and they weren't able to refrigerate her corpse. Three days later when we had her wake/funeral and it was open coffin, it was very, very unsightly and just disgusting. I love my aunt, but I did not need or want to see (and smell) that. I respect the sanctity of life, but dead bodies are empty shells.

You are probably too young to remember, but in my early years it was very common for families to bring their dead loved ones home & not to a funeral home. Families gathered around them & their child or brother was not left alone all night in a strange home. Also most recently doctors have encouraged families of deceased newborns to gather at the hospital & hold the babies in their arms before turning them over to an undertaker. As an former nurse I can tell you it is very healing for the family.

@Keetan22 in third world countries where embalming and morgues are hard to do properly, the dead have to be burried within 24 hours after death. the santorums kept the corpse two days before the funeral without embalming it or putting it in a morgue. because the santorums handled the corpse for two days and slept with it in their bed, its body tempature would have been high enough for diseases to form on it and the kids were at risk of getting the disease that caused the baby to die.
@Keetan22 Actually, the minute someone dies it is no longer able to regulate and fight against the bacteria inside it's body. Gravity forces blood to drain to one side, possibly leaking out of orifices, the body becomes blue-purple and incredibly stiff due to rigor mortis. The infant was underdeveloped so it probably started the putrefaction stage a bit sooner than a dead adult human. It most likely smelled like rotting flesh and had blisters in the morning. It's not immoral, but kinda gross.

Taking a dead body home to prove to your children they have a brother is a bit unnerving and unnecessary. I remember during the summer many years back when there was a power outtage, my aunt died and they weren't able to refrigerate her corpse. Three days later when we had her wake/funeral and it was open coffin, it was very, very unsightly and just disgusting. I love my aunt, but I did not need or want to see (and smell) that. I respect the sanctity of life, but dead bodies are empty shells.

You are probably too young to remember, but in my early years it was very common for families to bring their dead loved ones home & not to a funeral home. Families gathered around them & their child or brother was not left alone all night in a strange home. Also most recently doctors have encouraged families of deceased newborns to gather at the hospital & hold the babies in their arms before turning them over to an undertaker. As an former nurse I can tell you it is very healing for the family.

@Keetan22 in third world countries where embalming and morgues are hard to do properly, the dead have to be burried within 24 hours after death. the santorums kept the corpse two days before the funeral without embalming it or putting it in a morgue. because the santorums handled the corpse for two days and slept with it in their bed, its body tempature would have been high enough for diseases to form on it and the kids were at risk of getting the disease that caused the baby to die.

@Keetan22 Actually, the minute someone dies it is no longer able to regulate and fight against the bacteria inside it's body. Gravity forces blood to drain to one side, possibly leaking out of orifices, the body becomes blue-purple and incredibly stiff due to rigor mortis. The infant was underdeveloped so it probably started the putrefaction stage a bit sooner than a dead adult human. It most likely smelled like rotting flesh and had blisters in the morning. It's not immoral, but kinda gross.

He mentioned Economic Policy which can actually raise our income to pay the debt of China or other countries which we have debt with. The baby also has to struggle as the spike is jammed through his skull. Most decent adults, who are out in the public eye would never even conceive of such a mean spirited statement, but to do it on national TV, and to initially defend the statement to his opponent, is unbelievably cruel.
