I have to concur with jcnme27 here. Per CA Highway Patrol spec, the headlamp flasher is a fixed 90 AFPM, and the Federal Signal V7PSM-CHP uses a solid red centerline dome and mirror-imaged domes for the balance: red fwd/blue aft 1 & 7, blue fwd/red aft 2 & 6, blue aft only in 3 & 5.
Where do I begin? CHP cars all have custom built push bars, no grill lights, two spotlights and the vision light bar pattern is wrong. As a deputy and police car collector hat's off to you for getting this car. But it's not quite what the CHP really did use. Sorry if I came off rude, I'm not trying to be.
Everything you sais is okay ;) This car belongs to a collector. He also collect lightbars, sirens and other stuff. For this rideout he has thoosen for this lightbar-configuration. He has the inserts (red & blue)
You can see pictures of the car at: w w w. usapolice. nl
You're right about thoose things. The owner has a collection of lightbars, covers and other lightbarequipment. He changed the configuration of the lightbar for the ride out here in Holland. You may visit his website to how the car normally looks like: h t t p : / / w w w . usapolice . nl
This "CHP" police vehicle is missing the solid (steady on) red light facing front that is actually required in California. Also, the vector bar plastic covers are arranged incorrectly for CHP. Still awsome though.
Thats not the issue here, It dosent matter that he's not in California. The car is made to copy California's Highway Patrol so it should be made to California's standards. (solid red, light patterns, etc.)
yea well only us real californians will know its not a legit chp car, more of a hybrid of police car components. is it legal to drive those on the street there with all of its police equipment?

this reminds me of RMP driver certification.all they need to do is set up a few hundred traffic cones for manuvors. air fields are perfect.

Cool. But what was this some sort of goodwill tour or did he take a wrong turn somewhere? A little accompanying info would be nice.
