First the UCA blockaded Helghan because they had the ability to raise trade prices since Helghan was the only way to get to the outer colonies. Then Helghan/vektans attacked the blockade, and the UCA crushed them and took vekta. The colonists were forced to go to Helghan, where for generations they struggled with ^no help from the UCA, so when they recovered, they invade vekta to take it back. And so killzone begins.

@TheMGOKilla The first colonists known as the Helghan Administration resided above the planet Helghan on orbital platforms and on the surface of planet Vekta, as that planet was named after the CEO of the Helghan Administration. When the Helghan Administration decided to tax merchant ships going through Helghan and Vekta without the UCA's (Earth's governing body) consent, they eventually provoked the first war, and got their asses handed to them. This conflict is about 120 years later.

In any case, the Helghasts' gate was down, and Narville's Platoon took out Radec's army. Even at the taking of the 'king,' it is tactically embarrassing that Visari blew up his capitol city AND went to flank the ISA platoon, all in order for them to strike the heart and take the gate.

I mean, if the Helghast got another colony to join the war with them, THAT's when you'd actually see the UCA in action. There's very little information about the UCA, but it's all on the Killzone 2 section of Killzone.com .

Anyway, I'm just discussing this like a book in an English class or something, haha.

@TheMGOkilla on the mission where Seth has to go under the drawbridge and lower it from the other side for the ISA convoy to cross(i think it was that mission, its been awhile), there are 2 Helghast talking about Radec punishing another Helghast soldier for uniform infractions, it was a bit hard to tell with the gas masks but one sounded british, the other sounded more american. but it's a bit hard to tell to begin with since the game is pretty much dutch.
