At the time he was calling out from work, sleeping in the green room, and FINALLY admitted it was all due to heroin. In the context of when it was aired, Artie seems to be enjoying it. If you don't find it funny, Leno comes on at 11:30pm, I'm sure he will entertain you just fine.
