I KNOW Katniss loves Peeta. She doesn't realize it because she has the same problem with Gale, and she picked him because she's known him really long. But if the roles were reversed and PEETA was GALE..... she would pick Peeta just like she picked Gale, in my opinion.

I love the hunger games series I want gale to get katniss but peeta will win the love battle but really everyone for peeta Gale has know katniss most of his life and always loved her think if you loved someone for soo long and then have her/him taken away by someone who just shows up from nowhere

I'm TEAM PEETA!!! He's been in love with her for his whole life and never got a chance, he will pretty much do anything to protect her. He was so excited when they won and he thought he had her then Katnis tells him it was somewhat of an act! I would be crushed!! I love Peeta!!

im not the only one! i finished the book a couple days ago, and i CANNOT stop thinking about it.

i think the thing that made me the most sad was the parts where the prep team would start balling and have to leave. it just.. idk. this booked made me so attached to everyone, and when i found out the third book is the last, i almost cried/:. this series is the best i've ever read. i love everyone in it and i cannot WAIT until the final book. hopefully suzanne will change her mind &write another

Peeta!!! He is truly a GOOD person. He is also smart- and I think he truly loves Katniss. Gale is too imature and rash (justifyably so) in order to be any kind of revolutionary leader.

I completely fell in love with this book! It is amazing! I cried in the part where Katniss and Peeta went to Rue's district. I was in the middle of my psychology class and the tears just started rolling. When I read that District 12 was no more my mouth fell open and then the book ended I was just hungry for the next one. I'm with you, I NEED to know what is going to happen. I want District 13 to win in the end.

So desperate for Book 3! Heard a rumor it will be titled "The Victors". Anyway love your thoughts on the book. Very insightful. I didn't know how to feel about her reaction to finding out that she was part of the plan. I think Gale being key in the rebellion will turn her around (she'll forgive him and take part). It's hard to get your head around how the characters from District 12 have morals and interest in freeing Panem, yet still have to be cutthroat in the arena for their survival.

Ooo I like that title! Katniss is just a kid, even with all she has been through. she had to grow up fast, and therefore doesnt have the ability to see the whole picture sometimes. She is just thinking of peeta right now, but I agree I think she will end up helping the rebellion. The end was just...Oh my god. When he said there is no district 12, my throat caught and I was like NOOOOO!!! I need more now!!!!!!

Omg when I saw the mockingjay dress in my head...I was blown away!!! literally I had to stop reading becaause i knew something is gonna happen!! And when they beat up Cinna I stopped again...

I finished Catching Fire like 15 minutes ago and I bought it yesterday- omg! My stomach is full of butterflies that won't leave until i know Peeta is safe! I'm totally team Peeta/Katniss- but I like gale. rgg I want Peeta safe and the next book!

The whole Plutarch thing I knew something was up but didn't quiet know until Katniss thought about it i mean the head game maker sporting a mockingjay?

Altogether it was an awesome book... maybe Johanna could have been naked less- lol

I don't know whether I'm team Peeta/Katniss or not! I definitely want Peeta for myself (lol) but I want him to be happy... And since Katniss is my least favorite character... I'm just so conflicted. I think she treats him horribly, but if that's what she wants.

The only thing I saw coming was the Plutarch thing.

And oddly, the man who died in District 11 was what stuck with me the most!

I would have to assume the rebels are working out of more places than just district 13, but that is the place I would guess. It makes sense for the next book to take us there.

Right before katniss went into the arena peacekeepers came and started beating cinna for the whole mockinjay dress thing. I dont know what happened to him after that but im assuming hes dead

What a cliff- hanger!!! I was confused about the last line about there being no more district twelve. Is that because of the bombing? Did they all flee to district 13? I wish, there were more than three books! I don't want it to end!!! Loved this book!!! I will lose my sanity waiting a year for the next one! Ugh! It better be really thick lol

There is no more district 12 the capitol destroyed it with the bombing because katniss the symbol of the rebellion was from district 12.

3 hours! You are a fast reader! It took me 7. I agree, Katniss is totally in love with Peeta (and I am too). I'm kind of proud of myself because I called the District 13 storyline after reading the first book. Even though it's the final book, I cannot WAIT for the next one. I don't know if I can hold out a year (not that I have much of a choice).

I'm afraid they'll put the next book when Katniss is 20 or somthing, but I'm also afraid they'll torture Peeta to lure in Katniss! I have no idea but I would die if they killed off Peeta! I think everyone would. I don't think the 3rd is gonna be a happily ever after book. The second book was incredible and I screamed when I herd Katniss was going back to the games! But as I was in the car the next day I thought of the would you rather question.... Would rather be Katniss or her mom...?

My heart stopped when they announced she would have to go back. President snow is just way too devious for my liking.
