  • Awesome!!! Re-inspires my basic LOVE of architecture!

  • Excellent production. As a native having grown up in York, it took me years of maturing, and seeing/living in other places/states, to be able to appreciate all of the varied historical architecture that I had always 'looked at without seeing.' Granted, I never would have attempted to classify all of the styles as you have so painstakenly done. The house depicted @ 4:10 is my absolute favorite in the area (never been inside) PS: I read 'Spooky York' a few years back (as much history as spooky)

  • One house/mansion you left out was the Shipley mansion that sat on the corner of linden and roosevelt ave .Torn down because people were to stupid to save it!

  • @Titanicyork At 2:05 is a house that I a think is/was on Roosevelt (at least I am positive it's in the area of Ross. & Linden/Madison), I had lived in that area as a kid from 76-83, delivered ppers around there. Could the 2:05 place be what youre referring to ?...as I know exactly where the vacant lot on Roosevelt is. dO you know when they tore the Shipley place down? I'm guessing the mid-late 80s....

  • Thanks Scott for bringing these beautiful photographs to life.

  • I enjoyed this..Love Neo-Classical and Beaux Arts !
