  • Playing of the highest standard Scott! Great groove man! Loved it! Cheers!

  • Thanks Ed. This song was written way back in time, but still remains a fun tune to do. 8-)

  • What a fun video-I just love this time period.....

  • Marvellous tune and playing.Tight and precise backing.Melodic soloing. Top marks! Bodine is Back!

That was a little Austin 7 at the start,I think.

  • Howdy Barry! Bodine is my name... making noise-filled videos is my game. LOL!

  • Hey Man! This is tasteful. You are never so far away from the melody we don't know what we're listening to. Lovely, bouncy, 'rubbery' bass too. That drummer certainly ain't building no shed neither! Great. You got it made my friend. More! John

  • Glad you liked it, John! Thanks for the visit. 8-)

  • Nina... if you want to be a "Flapper," you just start "flapping" all you want! They had some cool dances in the past... "Swing Dancing" is awesome, too. Those "Swing Dancers" look crazy! 8-)

  • Thanks, Dave... ah, the Age of the Flapper! The people knew how to have fun without the sinister undertones prevalent in some of the more modern music. I like my computers, microwaves, air-conditioning and other modern stuff, but they had some things that were cool way back in the past! 8-)

  • I'm still reeling from Hendrix and now this! Was that Louise Brooks at 01:16? I love that woman! (Uh, not literally, of course! :-O )

  • And the 'Flying Scotsman' at 02:12! Hehe!

  • Bingo, Del, on that locomotive... bingo!

  • Yep, Del! Louise Brooks, what a toots!

  • Hi Scott, do you have a TimeMachine so we can take a trip to those years, visit Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, give them some compliments and drink some beers with them,I'm going to invent just that, great work,is that a Macaferi guitar, the tone is a little Djangolesq, or am I imagening things.Vic.

  • I actually have a Maccaferri, but it's a post-Selmer guitar. It's more of a collector's instrument. Maccaferri moved to the US and made plastic guitars! He thought people would like them. They didn't. The guitars sat in a warehouse for decades. When they finally were being sold, I bought one. Awful sound, but I have a Maccaferri! LOL! EQing my guitar gave me the sound you hear. Let me know when your "time machine" is working! 8-)

  • Diesel, that was very calm and relaxing by your standards, you out of Starbucks !?

    Thankyou very muchly

  • Greetings, Baz... I never let myself run out of Starbucks® Coffee and try to live a calm and relaxing life... it's true! I'm so calm and relaxed, that dogs think I'm a fire hydrant, and use me accordingly! LOL & 8-)

  • Just lovely........thanks Diesel
