Well not sure if you know this already, but Lloyd and the gang needed to do something about the Kharlan Tree that was getting out of control, so they used the mana cannon to stop it. Hmm it may have tore up some land too...though I might be getting mixed up with that other thing...xD I haven't played it in a while.
