@DrCOMPUT3R Akiba=shorten of Akihabara, and there's this Japanese word "verb+teru" = ~present continues tense, like if you say Ganbaru+Teru=Ganbatteru(making an effort) Taberu+Teru=Tabeteru(Eating) and such. So Akibatteru is just playing with these two words "Akiba"+"~Teru" Akibatteru. (Being in Akiba maybe!?)

well, it depends what you mean by "finished" if you mean the original series that started it all then yeah, but there has been a lot of series after it. Gundam G, gundam wing and walts, gundam seed and gundam 00 (the newest) are just some off the top of my head, and gundam 00 is supposed to have a movie come out soon. I think you can see all of 00 in youtube under the shows section.
