@XxFatexTearsxX owh thats why its really sad ! maybe they are sad ? i do no and i think we will never know? yes ok people can find out :D but i don't want an evil ghost chasing my but :D
was it a bad hospital? did they torture those people ? or i don't understand all the evp that they have done there all those ghosts are angry can somebody tell me?
wel its good to investigate the place's but sometime im like yeah dude's get ya butts out of there. it wil hurt and they have been hurt. they know the dangers of the job like someone taking a rocket in to space can die or a soldier going to battle to prove a point they know the hazzard, if they wanna see what happens when they at a certain place let them. at least they have cam's with them xD
but yeah as a normal person i wouldnt do what they do. i myself def would do just that (to Curious)lol

@Morpheus030 yeah I guess there has to be guys like them to make people see what you shouldn't do!!;)

specially if you come to the conclusion that what's there isn't human...if it's in fact the case then just get the fuck out of there!!!
@Morpheus030 cause you just don't deal with those "things"...demonic it's not make believe!!!
if you go to a supposed haunted place where lets say some sort of satanic ritual, Ouija board sessions and/or any other summoning ritual was done and therefore a gateway was left opened you should NOT even get close to it!!!!

the ghost adventures guys did an investigation here. It was amazing they got a lot of evidence. The little child responded to Zaks' voice it was really cool
The director of the movie "Death Tunnel" was so intrigued by all of the paranormal activity that was going on at Waverly Hills during filming that he decided to make a documentary on it as well.
thts only the numbers tht studies show....bck then they barley kept records of ppl tht died esc when tht many ppl died at one time.....and by wat everyone here in louisville knows tht wavery hills claimed more then over 70,000 lives the time it was open.....check ur sources
@DragonTheArtist there is one, the most scariest place is at one of the hotel in sydney and i am still terrified whenw e went on a ghost tour and i saw one in real life and the others didn't noticed and i explained to the tour guide and yes it was exact he saw too
Paraboefje-When Waverly Hills opened its doors, it was a state of the art facility for the time. It was much like similar state run hospitals throughout the United States that sprung up during this period. It was only after its mission and the history caught up with the building that decay and disuse took over to create what you see today. You should take a look at some of the pics from its heyday, it really was a very nice facility.
lol, except for the fact that tons of people died there, with little to no help. & the doctors did horrible/unorthodox experiments on their patients..trying to find some insane cure.
It wasn't so much that the experiments were horrible/unorthodox, they were doing what they thought at the time was best for the patients. Medicine is riddled throughout history with similar histories on the road to discovering cures. That is the nature of medicine. What I meant is that in many ways, the things like the solariums, etc were innovative for that time period. I don't know as we can say any place where people have died is "nice". I meant only the facility itself.
i'm going on the 1/2 night tour in march cant wait. hope to see or hear something. its sad all those people died there, no wonder its haunted. does anyone have the dvd of waverly? someone told me that there is a dvd out about waverly anyone know about that?
i was just there, and did the overnight stay, every shadow we saw could be explained away, no real experiences while we were there, except one flash of light from one room, and when I got home, i did find some interesting EVPS I think, but all in all I am not convinced, thats the skeptic in me.
I'm mad tho the people we're going with didn't book in time,we was planning on going on the 4hr tour but it they were all booked up so they made us go on the 2hr tour and we don't get to go down the Body Chute
that place is so scary. u see so many weird things going on there. we took a picture and there are 5 faces right before we entered. also at like 10:00 pm u go down a hall all by yourself and we saw some shadows run by people. its a spooky but fun place. also the body shot is so long and dark. i fell like 15 times.
wow, spooked was amazing that really scared me and got me very interested in finding out more about Waverly Hills Sanatorium and tb. over the past year i have been reading up about. it was a great documentry.
it is freaky. But this stuff happens al the time. Why dont we all set a time, and record our own evps when we sleep?Would be intersting. Especially at my house. But please ... no pranks. It really is a pretty scary thing to do if you get results.
to the people who are saying that 63,000 people did NOT die there, actually,it IS true, waverly hills is a very big place, and probobley almost everyone in the countery went there to heal there kids and eachother.
only about 15%(estimated from me ^.^ ) survived,luckly atleast...
It was only open for 50 years, do you really think that many people died there?! Not a chance...it wasn't a nazi concentration camp...it was a hospital!
Well, myself and a former curator of the site figured that out(we put it on Wikipedia). In it's worst year 152 died, which would make the overall death count considerably less than the legend. Look it was only open for 51 years, if EVERY year would have been that bad(which they weren't) than the total would only be 7,752...far less than 62,000.
(continued)...Many people DID die there, but remember, Waverly Hills was a sanctuary for people with advanced tuberculosis to go to and get better...many of them actually did, while many did not. It was a Geriatrics Hospital for 19 years, maybe 54,248 people died there in a 19 year timespan...
Waverly Hill sanitorium was for those whom had tuberculosis, it's death claims of 63,000 are a total myth. In it's worst season 152 people died, if that's true, the number of 63,000 deaths is WAY off!

Yeah it was okay but I thought there was a little too much fluff, like, too much drama. I would rather that they just go in and film a documentary without narration and crap
