I left a video response with data that shows earthquake frequency annually by magnitude over the last twenty years. The 7.0 numbers that you state are not consistent with the data that I found. However, that does not mean that earthquakes in 2011 did not go up in frequency and magnitude. I don't have the 2011 data (and it is still on going), so I cannot verify an increase. Nice one BUG. Its 50 degrees here in Massachusetts today.

A little warmer than usual this time of year.....yet on october we had a snowstorm of over 9 inches and we lost power for 2 weeks.

I cant remember weather like this when i was a kid. I'm 40 now and 2011 was one for the record books. The tornado here was pretty bad too.

Bug, tell me what is going on with the caribbean tectonic plate ... its terrible here now and the coastguard data coming from the seismograph in jamaica is censored. i am on a volcanic fringing reef and can feel it shaking all the time, and then the sea will get up and slap waves 10 or 15 minutes after the shake/knock.
