This is a cool movie! Eddie was showing us an example of what it would be like in 2008 without even knowing it. A black man running for congress then running for President at the end of the movie! Good film!

I think the real thing Eddie Murphy is trying to say is that being a con man is just as good of a qualifying trait, if a better one, when it comes to being a politician. They are one in the same, and you need to be just like con man to be a successful politician, which is why in the film Eddi Murphy eases in so well with the idea of being a politician. It fits him like a glove, perhaps even better than what he already is: "a con man"
