...And PROPS to JERRY RICE! I'm a Cowboy fan through & through, but in out of all the rival players the 'boys have had over the years, Rice was the only one who was just so goddamn good that you couldn't hate him. Joe Theisman's leg is the standard too which my happiness is held. The point is he is the greatest reciever in NFL history! Rice's 10 WORST SEASONS would still be good enough statistically to get him in the Hall of Fame! "THUMBS-UP" to give your props to Jerry...AND say fuck the 49'ers
man u buggin barry had heart his team sucked and they would not release him barry was tougher than anybody and jim brown was a champ on and off the field sucka @ seniorcat
What an awesome speech. Emmitt thanked Jesus and gave Him the glory, and thanked others...I've never seen such class. Tremendous character. (And this is coming from a Giants fan.)Compare this moment with any on his highlight reel. He' got the heart of a hero.

@inkaowner,Emmit sucks? Really? Your a fucking idiot! That's why he gained 200 yards against the Giants with a seperated shoulder cause he sucks. Stick to tennis or soccer you freaking pansy.
I'm tired of people saying Emmitt was better because of his O-Line. He STILL had to break the tackles and Juke people out to good yards. And people saying that recievers are just good cuz their qb's, they still have to catch the ball..........
I dont care what skills Barry sanders had, Barry did quit......... Emmitt is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3- time Super bowl champ..... All time rushing Champ..... ILL TAKE EMMITT ALL DAY. I DONT WANT A QUITTER, GIVE ME A CHAMPION!!!!!! EMMITT SMITH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

emmitt gave a great speech in his induction tonight, 8/7/10. very good speaker! emmitt deserved every accolade he received and approached the game the way it should be done. However, he had a great o line to run behind his whole career, unlike payton. from 1975 - 1982, payton got his yards with on his own and in those chicago winters. watch payton highlights from 75-80 and see what walter fought through.
Listening these guys who are giving a lesson of hard work, winner mentality and humility made me realize why they are the best. Young cocky superstars should be watching this show.
@GenMaul you are 100% right. todays players expect it bcause they were good in college. all the guaranteed $ is bullshit. they have one great season or a couple and think they are gods gift to the nfl.
@TWAvegas Before Terrel Davis or O.J. would be Bo Jackson. Like Davis, the numbers COULD have been great, but his body failed him! It was a horrible injury, and if he stayed healthy...who knows. O.J. was great. He wouldn't be far from this list. Maybe 13-17. Earl Campbell and Bo are just better in this one man's opinion. And Bo was good enough to get a pass on just the raw talent he showed. Guys like Eddie George, Emmitt, and Marcus Allen, and Jerome Bettis were the toughest! Bo had more skill.
@MrGoatgood Great running back! He's a fucking dumbass! But he was a great. He's # 14 on my personal list. Not top 10. Jim Brown could actually be the best all-time! We don't know why he retired early, like Sanders, except that they weren't given the respect due from their organizations, and they were slowing down. Emmitt slowed down fairly early in his career, but was tough enough to push it out. Dickerson had a few good years. Dorsett was so quick and amazing to watch.
@MrGoatgood Faulk was so great not only for his running talent, but his ability to catch the ball. Dickerson and Dorsett are just above him because they were so great as true runners. But as an overall football player, it's hard not to look at Faulk as easily a top-5 all-arounder! In fact, I dare you to find 10 NFL ALL TIME Tight Ends who have more recieving yards in their careers than Faulk. And then he ran for over 10,000 yards rushing!
@JoseATurner 11. Gale Sayers 12. Bo Jackson 13. Earl Campbell 14. O.J. Simpson 15. Marcus Allen 16. Jerome Bettis 17. Corey Dillon 18. (FB) John Riggins 19. Herschel Walker 20. Eddie George
You mean to tell me he didnt have a all star o line. If barry sanders didnt reitre early he'd be the all time leader, and he had no line whatsoever. Of course if you have a hof qb your gonna have a hof receiver. Give the O line there kudos, is all im saying!-
@inkaoner We all know the O-Line was great for four years in Dallas. But that was FAR from all you were saying. You call my 5-time champions cowgirls? Fuck you, you stupid goddamn bitch! The only thing Barry Sanders EVER WON was less rushing titles and an average of 6 games a season. This video is for winners. Go jack-off to a video of Barry juking a lineman in a 20+ point Detroit loss! Let the fans of the true winners and champs have our forum.
yea he had arguably the best O-line of all time but Barry will always be 2nd best because he quit in his prime...u learn very early, quitters never win & winners never quit. emmit was too small (barely 5ft.9in) slow (4.6-40) and not big enough (maybe 190lbs) but all that didnt matter because he had more heart and courage in his pinky than barry had in his entire body...thats why hes the best. we can go on and on about wat ifs but just take it as is and deal with it...barry quit plain and simple

Barry sanders for the easy win. No fullback until 1997, and when he gets one what does he do 2,000 baby. 5.0 yards per carry.......that says it all.
He was a man among boys in my book. Made them all look silly, and I havent seen anyone else besides brown in his day do that.
